Well Palmer I guess the term "turnaround" is pretty vague. Since you don't know who McDowell is you probably don't know a whole lot about the program at Rowan; where it is now and where it was when Preston took over. Either way Preston is on his way to Western High School as head coach. In case you don't know Preston has worked for many great coaches so his background says a lot. He has been part of some state titles etc. How many teams have you coached with or how many times have you been part of a state championship? Have you ever played football? :thumb:

I think his time spent at Danville will serve him well at Western. From what i know he has wanted to get to a larger area for some time.

I also have confirmed that he officially stepped down at Rowan County today before meeting with the Viking players.

Confirmed he made it official today an met with the team to tell them he is headed to Western high School to become their new head coach. :dancingpa
