Our kicker is for real. I was told he has kicked some from 60+ yards in practice. Too bad practice does not count.
Looked like it had the distance, just way way left....

Ok so it is about Ohio football, but since I am in NKY this is of interest to me.
Appears that Hamilton County and the Bengals entered into the Bidding process to host the 07 thru 09 Ohio prep title games.

Does Nancy Zimpher work two jobs?

Good things should not come easily!
Magic is a little tougher to work in a public 4A school. -
I hear that...
Just think if he could work is magic at someplace like Conner, Boone County, or Dixie etc....
I would like to see him take a 4A job in NKY. Are any open? -
I don't know which game you attended last year, but the 3A game on Sat. morning was beautiful sunny and unseasonalbly warm for Dec. I believe it was mid 40's.
Well, I was on the field shooting photos for all four games last year and overall I liked this year weather wise much more (other than the period of fiarly heavy rain during the NCC game). I did not care for the 3 games in one day, but I was speaking of just the weather.
-
yeah the weather might have had something to do with the slight drop in attendance from last year
I actually thought the weather was better this year for the most part. The only real bad rain was during the 1A game and it was not raining unreasonably hard. Last year I thought it was a helluva lot colder and windier, which in turn made it feel even colder.

Would anyone have, or know where I can get a photo of Dane Spoelker's (#55) tackle of Anderson on that 4th down play? There were of bunch of photographers in the end zone. One guy with his press band around his pants leg looks like he is getting a great shot of it. Thanks for any info!!!!
I looked and do not think I have that picture, so maybe it wasn't me after all. I forgot on the Friday night game I was having battery issues and if it was me I could have missed it because my batteries kept dying on me. Help me out and let me know roughly when in the game it was (qtr etc), it will help narrow down on where to look.
But I did find this one. It is not an action shot, but I worked with the picture a bit and like the result. The only bad note is I wasn't thinking and didn't save the full size file, but it will work well enough for posting here.

I will look, if you dont hear back from me send me a PM.
They were very good... any of Dane Spoelker's (#55) stop of Anderson on 4th and 3? -
No Problem... I will post some more later, or they will be posted in the BGP photos section after I process them for the GURU.
And I agree on the close up action shots. They also let you have an idea of what the game was like if you could not attend.
I agree about the interior line. But I always enjoy the up close action shots..... Of anyoneGreat shots and Thanks for sharing them with us. :thumb:

I like the endzone...

LOL... In the sense that it does not take pictures all by itself and I do in fact point it at what I want to take pictures of....
But seriously is a DSLR, the lens is a 120-300 MM fast lens, and the camera I borrowed from the GURU this go around as it facuses faster than mine.
Great pix's! Is that a point and shoot!? -
I posted some in the thread Friday night....

O.K., here is one. He is working his way towards the ground, but he is not going away withouth and opponent to take with him
The other thing, is it is tough getting pictures of interior linemen as there are to many people around and unlike receivers etc, they don't like posing.. lol
-
I see what you mean... lol
Just kidding, I have another one I will work one. Gotta watch the Bengals first though..
#53. He's the one carrying the trophy in the picture I posted. That's kind of a joke with the wife and I . Someone gave us a disc of I think the Newport game and he was on the ground in about 75% of the pictures. We always ask him home can he be tired? All he does is lay on the ground.
