Accepted another job offer, they had a deadline. Couldn't put all my eggs in this basket.

I made the final 4 for this job but, withdrew after I was announced. They told me in the interview what this would look like. The interview room was wild, probably 15+ people in the initial interview. Parents, ADs, Principals, dean of students, players and even players asked questions. They even gave us the names of the other candidates lol If you were chosen to be in the final 4, you each had 30 minutes to run a practice, then if you made the final two, you come back for this debate a week later. The debate, one candidate is on stage while the other is off stage in a room where they can't hear anything. Then they switch. The entire interview process is 3+ weeks long.

Talked to many coaches, I have a few interviews lined up, but I don't have anything official yet!

Good Morning! My name is Michael Worton and my family and I currently live in Houston, Texas. I'm the first assistant coach at Klein Oak High School, we're one of the best programs in the state, we were ranked #9 this year and went 30-4. I've been at Oak for 4 years now, but my family and I recently sold our home and are moving to Kentucky. I have three boys, 7th grade, 1st grade and kindergarten, and we know we can give them a better life there being able to buy more (land, house, etc..) for way less than you can in Texas. I'm from Indiana originally and I have some family who grew up in Danville, or I think as you guys would say, Boyle County? I know it's really tough to get in the door, I know I'm not a Wildcat through and through, so I was just asking for some help. I've applied to everything that I can think of and that is available there, from assistant coach to head coach, from your available jobs to spamming district sites. I'm not trying to move twice lol I definitely don't want to move my 7th grader to a new school, make new friends and then move him again, so hopefully my next move is the last move.
