It was a pass break up but it was in the end zone. Etown had a chance to blow this one open when it was 21-0 late in the second half. A fumble that set up a score and an absolutely terrible face guarding call (there is no such thing in High School Football, that rule changed a few years ago) on 4th down that gave Central a first down to set them up for a score. You could argue that Central probably shouldn't have scored. I did think Central came to life in the 4th and actually started playing harder than they had all game. They just don't have many athletes that can make plays. Good players but not overly explosive. The fact that Etown has sophomores all over the field making plays and even up front on both defensive and offensive lines is pretty encouraging for the Panthers.
