As we enter the last two weeks of the regular season I honestly think the 6th region is the most wide open region in the state and that the 6th region tournament will be must see TV. I am leaning towards PRP winning the region and heading to Rupp Arena but really think this region is about 7 deep with teams that have a legit shot. We are heading into the last two weeks of the regular season and some things remain the same! St. X has had some scares and challenges but has still not lost to a Kentucky team this season. They are obviously the favorites to win the region and represent the 7th region at Rupp arena but the two main contenders have added pieces at end of season. Cole Edelen is back at Male after being injured most of the season and Ballard added Cash Whitehead who transferred from Eastern late in the season. This will make the Tigers path much tougher. St. X continues to dominate and is honestly just a lot better than anyone in this region. Does that mean that they can't have a bad night and lose like the did in the regional last year to Seneca? It could happen but I do not see it. I think St. X becomes first team since Fairdale in the 90's to win King of the Bluegrass, LIT and State Championship in same season.
