Evangel came out with the win 57 to 52 in that one. Evangel was led by Conway-Jimenez 18, Mukadi 15 and Gandol 11. Holy Cross was led by Kramer, and Jackson 17. Evangel Christian pulled the very rare 6th region double last year winning both the ALL A 6th region championship as well as the regular 6th region championship. They were runner up at All A state as well as going to the final 4 at State tournament in Rupp arena. But this is not that team and they lost several very good players off that squad notably Kyran Tilley and Christian Doerr who was as good as any backcourt in the state last year. I will take Holy Cross here at home in a very close game.
