Copy that, it is not showing up on their schedule. Thanks!
Not sure why it is not on their schedule but they posted it on their Twitter so that is where I got the info.

Appreciate you doing this review since we haven’t had any so far this season for the 8th region. But SK will be playing in the Scott Winter Classic this week and are taking on Elder in the first round this Wednesday.

Nice bounce back game for the Camels. Are they one the favorites in the 10th again this year?
I would say it goes GRC as the clear favorite then Mason County then probably Campbell with the 3rd best chances to win the region.

What is up with this score?
Both teams play the same type of game this year. Sit down and guard and grind it out. Also wasn’t a very good shooting night for either team as you can tell.

I think it is so sad that a varsity boys basketball game has both teams get 32 and 30 points.
Well it’s two teams who play very slowed down defensive orientated games. But I will say that both teams didn’t shoot the ball well at all.

I wouldn’t consider Desales win over Simon Kenton necessarily easy. It was a 6-8 point deficit most of the game but Desales pulled away at the end. But great job on the review I enjoy reading them every week.

Final from Henry County. Was a pretty close game for the most part staying around a 6-8 point margin until Desales started to pull away at the end.

No Dallas Roberts for North obviously made a big difference.
Yes it did. SK definitely impressed me though. I feel like even with no Roberts most would expect North to win.

Dynes and Krohman both with huge games for the pioneers!

So based upon that he likely is not eligible as yet per KHSAA.
I’ve heard that he got ruled eligible today. Not 100 percent sure if that’s true or not. But we will find out when they play tomorrow.

Big one in Independence tonight. We will see how SK matches up with the preseason number 1 team in the 8th region.

I was surprised with the lack of playing time by Jones for CCH with St. Henry killing CCH underneath. The zone really gave CCH fits especially in the first half. CCH struggled from 3 shooting 25%. Was surprised to not see more out of Hussey. I was also expecting a faster pace from CCH. They went into 4 corners with about 3 minutes left in the game and a 5 point lead. Nice turnaround game for the Cru after losing their last game to NCC. This region is wide open.
I could be wrong but I would say reason for Jones lack of playing time was because Detzel the backup big man did have a pretty good offensive game especially in the first half. I believe he had 10 points in the first half alone.

18 minutes before tipoff. McCrear is not warming up.....but Starks is. Rest of Woodford looks healthy - Smith, Waide, Johnson, Nelson all warming up.
Looking at Oldham.....Max Green is listed at 6'3". That's a tall 6'3"....lol
Per Green’s twitter he is 6’6.

11 per game. I had him for 8 in DH game, official had him for 10. 16 vs CC, 10 vs DH, 7 vs Holmes.
11 points 7 blocks pretty solid.

Dynes with 20 blocks over 3 games!
Do you happen to know how many points he’s averaging?

Great HS game, a lot of fans missed out on this one as the bleachers were not well populated.
I was there and I am more than happy I decided to go! I doubt there will be many games this whole year that top this one.

Brossart led the whole way. Newport struggled with the zone in the first half. Couldn’t knock down any shots. Brossart was up 3 at half. Newport had multiple turnovers early in 2nd half helping Brossart to a 9-0 run to start the half. Brossart never looked back. Newport has Lots of talent but not playing like a team quite yet. Need to shoot better from outside and do the little things. No blocking out led to multiple Brossart easy put backs. I am sure Newport will be dangerous later this season.
Did Jabari Covington play for Newport?

Final from Walton. Max Montgomery with a 3 at the buzzer to win it in overtime for the Bearcats. Huge win for the Bearcats.

I’ll be honest, I was a bit skeptical on Cov Cath coming into the year but after watching them yesterday they have to be the best team in NKY by a pretty wide margain at this time.

Did Pouncy play for Cooper?

Yangoua has game. The 11 Feagan has always been a shooter and competitive. That 10 Feagan has stepped it up. Good all around player. When’s the last time Williamstown had three very good players the same season?
I am not sure when they have had three guys like they do this year but I think Williamstown can make things interesting in the 32nd district this year.

I agree. They seem to play good together and good chemistry. I think the three guards don’t get kudos enough by the writers in this region.
Agreed. The trio of Yangoua and the two Feagan brothers deserves more recognition. All 3 of them can really play.

I think the Demons are going to have a pretty successful season.
