That Green County vs Metcalfe County game for first seed in district 3 is going to be massively important, as neither would want to meet LCA in the second round as the two seed. And that’s if they were even able to get by the 3 seed which is likely to be Somerset. That’s 5 teams that are arguably top 10 teams in 2A this season playing in the first two rounds against each other. Talk about tough.
You ain't lying. Brings more to the table come game day. That number one seed and district champs all in one game. The atmosphere will be intense. Better plan on coming to that game early. It's gonna be a packed house.

Metcalfe with a running clock.

Speaking of districts sorting out this week, we have the Henry-Mercer battle for 2nd in District 4, as well as the Desales-Western Hills to see who is in and out of the playoffs.
Toughest game for fans player and coaches to have is the game to predict when you season might end. Brings alot of emotions to the game. It also usually makes for a interesting game.

Against Lloyd? Yes they would.
Dang that's tough. Just looking at the stats I'm seeing alot of Berger leading almost everything. He's a true stud. Zero chance is big words. The only team that I have seen that had zero chance is the team that never showed up.

How will the Hart/Glasgow/Casey/Taylor district fare against Union/PT/Trigg?
1st round will be rough. Glasgow or Taylor if healthy are not gonna be an easy out. I'm predicting Hart 1 seed Glasgow 2 seed Casey 3 Taylor 4th

Lloyd might have a chance against Beachwood.
I don't think they have any chance against Beechwood. 😉
I wouldn't say any. There's always a chance for an upset due to injuries eligibility sickness ect. You saying they would be the same team if Berger had to come out the rest of the game?
-
Crazy things happen. Has happened all season. Chance might be slim but there is a chance.
-
I'm taking Beachwood in this one. However I think it's possible for the upset to happen.

I think Hart-Casey is actually a pretty big game.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here. I don't really feel this is gonna be much of a game. I think if Hart co comes in and plays there game they win by 2 or 3 TD. Hart is riding the best season ever at Hart Co High School. They are only gonna get better as the season progresses. This team will be no easy out come playoffs.
-
I'm gonna go with barren co. Don't have a reason as to why, but I like there chances.
-
Etown with a running clock.
-
Green with running clock.
-
I'm gonna go with campbellsville with this one. I'm pretty sure they are gonna be ready after having the week off. They have lost to some good teams. Playing good teams only make you better. I go with cville in a close one
-
I'm gonna think it's gonna be a running clock with LCA getting the dub.

Green allowed 227 rushing yards and 71 passing yards. Green co rushed for 362 yards and passed for 217. Hodges 11 for 16 2 TD. Houchens had 24 carries for 152 yard 3 TD. Seymour has 15 carries for 149 yards and a couple including a big TD run called back.
Most of Green co skill guys play both sides of the ball the whole game. However alot of young guys filling spots from the SR reset on defense. They are much improved from start of the season, and still have some work to do.
There seem to be a couple of visitors there last night checking out some of Green co Tanlet. Green most definitely has a couple of fine pieces.
-
This game Green co had so many mental mistakes as far a penalty away from the ball. The fumble snap on the miss que for WC touchdown after halftime. These mistakes can't happen if they wish to have a extended playoff run. They had a few missed assignments and didn't wrap up on tackles.
WC played really well. They are very much improved than last year. They could possibly upset a team down the road. They fought till the clock hit zero. There deffense isn't their strong point. As Green co could run with either Seymour and Houchens.
Over all it was an exciting game. For a young QB "Green" to operate a 2 minute offense will help down the road. Congrats to Green. Great job WC.

If and that's a big if Green county wins out should raise there RPI significantly. The only low team they have left is Edmonson. They are more then capable of winning out the regular season. Outside of Edmonson co there opponents are setting at 11 and 12 in RPI. Which doesn't reflect this week's open week.

I’m not so sure about that. Owensboro Catholic just had a close game with Todd County Central, so they aren’t unbeatable for sure. LCA with all the injuries is also not unbeatable, and have given up some massive numbers to teams on defense, Mayfield and Beechwood seem to be the most for sure things in the class, but Mayfield hasn’t played anyone with a chance to beat them since PT, no fault of there own on that.
If a team is able to take away the run game of Beechwood with Berger, I think a team could have a shot with Beechwood, but good luck with that.I'd have to agree. If I had to guess today. It's gonna be Mayfeild Beachwood or LCA. LCA gonna be dangerous come playoffs. I think the rest of the teams are toss ups. Can anyone except them 3 make it? I think so. What's the chances of a Top RPI drawing LCA before semis? We gonna find out. I hope for a fun exciting playoffs.

I'm happy to take a #2 ranking, but with our top running back/defensive player out for the year, and now our QB/free safety going down with a broken collarbone Friday night, it is taking this beautiful weather to put us at Bardstown in good spirits this morning.
Dang that's tough. Prayers for them guys on the healing process.
As expected I see Hart co. has broken top 10. There best season probably in the history of there program. Excited to see were this season goes. Because next year it should be around about the same group.

Warren Central is not young. Most of the play makers for the Dragons are seniors that have been playing since they were sophomores. Senior QB AJ Aime is a very good player that has steadied the Dragons and made them into a much improved
Your correct the info I looked at must not been updated. They have some play makers. I wasn't insinuating that they wasn't, and there play is comparable to campbellsville. The Qb is Top Rusher, and he has a very athletic WR he likes to throw to much like Campbellsville. Improved your absolutely correct.
