I'm guessing the 3 D1 players are Johnson and the Smith players 1 and 21?

That's what It seems to mean. Smith is a special kid. He can do big things if he handles business right.  I wasn't too impressed with the one. Weights Grades, and attitude he will land a good offer.

You say they should be a clear favorite to win the district so I’m assuming Metcalfe lost most of their team. Also Monroe has a very good past in football even though they have struggled lately do you think they will show improvement this year. Don’t know how much you know about those two opponents but with them being in the same district I’m sure you have some knowledge of what they have this year.

Monroe has a couple of nice pieces. Coach P will have them boys ready to play. However I don't think they are any were near Green this year. Metcalfe has lost alot of super seniors from last year team. They return Bransetter in the backfield. Can't count Coach Harbison out. Think the battle will be Metcalfe vs Monroe for the number 2 spot. Clinton has a young team that showed alot last year but I don't think they make up that much ground this year.

It's been said for the last several years that Green co upcoming SR class is probably the most Athletic class of recent memory. Most all of the SR Class has been playing since Kindergarten. I look for strong performances from McKinney Seymour Hodges and Bell. Last season looks to have been somewhat of a let down.

  4. I think Green will be pretty solid. They should be clear favorite to win district. Playoff run is gonna decide if they can get stops on deffense. Seymour should lead the team in most categories. I like to see McKinney moved into the back feild for some hard nose running. Hodges should be much improved, and will have just as many targets to throw to. The most important thing like last year will be deffense. Can they improve and fill the holes that SR group left? TBD.

  5. Green played decent at times. The play calling was questionable at times. Houchens was a beast all night. Houchens and Seymour didn't get the touches I had expected. Alot of mental mistakes head down diving attempted tackles. Unfortunate penalties one for roughing the kicker that changed momentum in first half. This turned into 7 for somerset. Honestly if it wasn't for Somersets dropped passes they would have won more heavily. Good luck to Somerset the rest of the playoffs.

  6. It's gonna be a good year for football. I don't see any team that can't be beat. Mayfield is 10 times better then they were last year. Granted they haven't played a strong schedule. Beachwood loose there RB weapon. They showed they still can move the ball. LCA is LCA. With a healthy QB they are pretty darn stout. It will be one of these three teams with the trophy.

  7. Seymour looks to be peaking at the right time. He had two turnovers in the first half. Which one was gonna be a turnover on downs to start with. One once again was trying to get extra yardage. Second half instead of hanging his head he made up for it on deffense. If Houchens and Seymour both show up together for the playoffs all 4 quarters they can win what ever they wanna win.
