Just a thought, but in watching that video above, it looks like they kick an extra point right before, then just turn around and run punt. The kid is punting it from the back line of the end zone. Seems more likely he just really got hold of one before the Cooper game than something devious.

Can anyone confirm that the Boone County QB has also transferred to Princeton? Isn't this getting a little strange?

I am shocked the camp is happening but really happy it is for the kids.
Alright, fine, I'll ask. What's with all the camp happening/not happening stuff?

So are we saying the coach is expecting too much from the boys in Fort Thomas this offseason?
Does this fall in the be careful what you wish for category?
Or, in a slightly less pot stirring way, they could just be saying the offseason expectations are vastly different than they had been and a general curiosity as to how these expectations/hours compare to other schools' offseason programs?

Now, that's how you make an entrance to BGP.

Good point @TheDeuce I couldn't help but admire the press release emphasizing the "vertical alignment" success. Critical.

I was told there are a couple of kids not playing football to focus on baseball, BUT, there are also a couple kids doing the opposite. The second group, the ones not playing baseball, are much bigger impact football players.

If Sphire were to leave, it would also be an interesting referendum on the bi-monthly argument over whether the talent is still there or not.

CCH will need to shore up their kickoff defense.
Good week to do it. Won't see anything confusing coming their way.

I quit caring about this June 2, 1990. LOL
I mean, not to get technical, but posting about not caring about it since the day, I assume you graduated, on a forum dedicated to Kentucky High School Football may not be the best way to make your point?

Highlands has a run stopper?

Moving #1 around made this offense look much more dangerous. Be interesting in second half.

Any fans of these programs on here? Me being an hour away can’t have the only insights. Would like to know what some close to these programs think.
From my time on here, and living in NKY, I think you'd get more posts if you just asked how these teams would do against Highlands. 🙂 I know several people who have kids in these programs, and are definitely aware of BluegrassPreps, but just don't seem to ever post.

Question, do you guys in the know have a sense of the Offense and Defense they will be running? I'd think how much that changes, and how quickly the players adapt, may play a part in the record question.

Heard some interesting secondhand feedback, aka guy at work, that the new coach was not happy about how far the weights program has fallen off. But, to his credit, was adamant that it will be fixed.

I have a question that someone asked in the other thread, but is Benke the big kid that played QB for the freshmen this year? When we played that class the last few years and they had two Highlands teams, the other team had a kid who threw like 5 TDs against us in 8th grade. Is he still at Highlands?

I understand what you're saying, but I have to wonder if people in Fort Thomas would count one of the two as impressive.

Engler and Sphire also have history together, so I think its an easy situation for them to tailor the scrimmage to get what they want out of it.
