Just saw posted that CAL is looking for a new Head Girls basketball coach.

Does anyone have any details?

I posted in the girls thread on this but many Universities want their athletes on campus ASAP

I could be that TN has been asked to be at USC by early June.

I know it’s common practice for many Universities to get their athletes on campus in June.

Quite possibly the reason CJ isn’t playing in this game.

Why is he leaving?

His choice or Administration ?

Coached the girls program at BC as well.

Moore Girls basketball job is open.

Most think he’s gonna be a Tar Heel.

Saw them early in the year.

Their pace and style will give teams fits. New coach seems to have things moving in a good direction.

Until the “portal” closes, I would rank them like this:

JTown - EC - Butler - BE - Everybody else!

As wide open as I could ever remember a big city region to be.

I just looked at the KHSAA website and there are 3 jobs open at Carrol County.

How can you rank High School teams when the Portal hasn’t opened yet!

X and T will be the two best in the big city. GC will be best in Lexington. Newport probably best in NKY but many things can change between now and October 15.

Intelligence (artificial or otherwise) has rarely been used when it comes to things like this in the KHSAA.

Are Richmond and Knox better prospects?  Higher ranked for sure. 
I’d say they will both play professionally. Noah on the other hand maybe/maybe not. 

The game has changed SO much because of Steph. Shooting is way more important than it’s been in the past. Noah can shoot. 

Taking nothing away from EC but the Vasser injury changed things.

Doerr and Tilley are a great guard duo.

Anyone know who is recruiting these two players?

Uh….NO

GC is really good. But so are the other 3 teams regardless who wins the other games.

Just one week ago LexCath had them beat playing straight up.

If GC wins the title, they will have earned it but they are not some juggernaut that can’t be beat.
