I’m going with Warren Central to win the regular season finale over Russellville...
-
Anderson is Jekyll & Hyde this year.
-
What a game. Madisonville stops a potential game tying 2 point conversion with 21 seconds remaining to secure the victory.
Three way tie for district title now. Looks like it will come down to last week of regular season.

I'm assuming Hopkinsville is the one you're referring to, in which case, I agree. They had a much more difficult schedule ahead of them. They're sitting back in points mostly because they lost to Mayfield and Henderson County - if they'd held on against Mayfield, this contest would basically be over.
It's just a matter of time before the KHSAA decides to use RPI to do this. I all but guarantee it.
I would think you are right in regards to RPI becoming a multi-team tiebreaker in the future.

Logan County didn't exactly run out and schedule the biggest world beaters, but they did upgrade their schedule with three Warren County teams, swapping out Breckinridge County, McLean County, and Todd County Central. Point of fact, if Madisonville can knock off Hopkinsville, Logan County will be in the driver's seat for the top seed in the district. They've currently got 12 points in the tiebreak (Greenwood's 5 wins, Warren East's 4, Muhlenberg County's 2, and Russellville or Butler County's 1). Greenwood will probably add one more win, East has a shot at three, and I expect both Muhlenberg County or Russellville will add at least one somewhere. Hopkinsville has 5 from Calloway which is obviously extremely valuable, but Kenwood only gives them two currently, and right now, that's it. Madisonville is sitting on 9 (Union County - 4, Daviess County and Marshall County - 2 each, Ballard Memorial - 1). Both Madisonville and Hopkinsville could change the math by winning at the end of the season against Mayfield and Paducah respectively, but as of today, Logan County might be able to avoid that first round carnage if the cards break right.
Just goes to show you that 3 Way tiebreakers need to account for some sort of strength of schedule.
Logan Non District Opponents
Greenwood
Warren East
Muhlenberg
Butler
Russellville
South Warren
Madisonville Non District
Daviess
Ballard Memorial
Mayfield
Union County
Christian County
Marshall county
Hopkinsville Non District

One of those schedules is not like the others. 3 way tiebreaker Credits teams for creative scheduling.

Lex Cath vs Boyle & Hopkinsville vs Madisonville are two good 4A matchups on a light week..
-
Logan County will be fine. They were banged up from what I heard and had to play on the road vs a very good Hoptown team.
-
Score is wrong. Russellville upset Fulton 34-31...
-
Mercer has been one of the surprise teams so far this season. That win at CAL was huge last week.
-
Mayfield is the real deal. Caldwell played hard but didn’t have the horses.
-
Christian County staring an 0-11 season in the face.
-
I’ve got that feel it’s going to happen.
Might need to give a little more credit to Hopkinsville than many are giving. I think that the Hoptown/Madisonville game next week will be a dandy.
-
I’ll go with Desales 31 PT 21.. PT’s lack of a passing game will come back to bite them this week.
-
Owensboro can name the score here. Running clock early.
-
No Veltkamp = a BG win I believe. Although I will never count out a Brandon Smith coached football team.
-
Two very good, well coached Football teams. This district is a beast. Should be a barn burner in Hopkinsville Thursday night.
Franklin-Simpson gaining momentum but can they keep it up?

No. Don’t see it. I think the Final 4 teams in 4A this year will be Boyle, Johnson Central, Louisville Central, & one of Madisonville/Logan/Hoptown.
