Is he not playing in the Under Armour game? I didn’t see him on the roster.

He’s playing in the All-American bowl (fka the US Army All American Bowl)...it is being played Saturday in San Antonio - NBC has the broadcast.

@Brown - but is FD defending state champs?

Every team is different from last year’s....including defending champ South Warren. Starters return and new starters emerge.

I have no dog in fight. Both are super good and I expect to see them meet for the championship. I was addressing points made that FD has a bland resume. I only show Cc with wins over 2 currently KY ranked teams (1) Beechwood at #8 in 2A. They are down this year for that great program. and (2) LexCath at #4 in 4A. LC has them beat and CC won by a point. The rest of the wins are against average to bad teams. As I said the Lasalle win was huge for CC, but FD has a huge win in Scott. I coupled that with South Warren beating Cc in the championship last year and think FD is the better team.

Curious to know how last year’s team factors into your evaluation of this year’s team. That was then, this is now.

LaSalle is #3 but that is also in Division 2 in Ohio. To say they are #3 in Ohio is not correct. They are no Elder or St X.

LaSalle is as good or better than Elder or St. X.

They are a few students below the cut off for a Division 1 school - that doesn’t change the fact that they play against primarily Division 1 opponents.

The years they won the Division 2 state title, they were probably the best team in the state....they seem to be exhibiting the same dominance this year. But I guess we will see when they play Elder and St. X later this year.
