Tomorrow will tell a lot about the Raiders versus a Cooper squad that held Dixie to 0.
-
Does the state offer an RPI website or plan to come playoff time. I hope they will to keep things public and in the open.
-
Is there anywhere with a weekly updated RPI?
Also are the districts seeded by overall record or in-district record?
-
I think the Raiders will continue the momentum they built Last Friday.
This will be a battle of two great Defenses.

The Battle of Union 2019
1-1 Ryle (L to Cov Cath, W v Conner)
v
2-0 Cooper (W v Dixie, W v NCC)

Side note;
In the 3rd Ryle shorted a 46 yd Field Goal.
However when Conner took the ball over they took the ball on the 20. Does anyone know why this is?

Ryle rebounded well.
Judging by Campbell County’s performance of -47 yards, I’m guessing Covington Catholic is that good and Ryle isn’t that bad.
Ryle’s Defensive philosophy of bend don’t break, does give up a couple big downfield plays a game but has proven to be stifling when they have their backs against the wall. They stopped Cov last week and Conner this week multiple times inside the 50.
Ryle’s Defense could take them far if they continue to improve.
The offense has the weapons Lee, Cusick, England & Coker showed flashes of what it takes to win tough games.
The Oline continues to improve, they got the job done last night.
England looked like a star last night he’s a workhorse. Multiple times breaking 2-3 tackles before busting off a nice gain.
QB still needs some work though last night looked a shade better.
I would imagine after next week we will see a clear favorite in the district.

Congrats Warner and the Rebels.
When was the last time BC was 2-0?

Ryle looked good found their soul and never looked back.
Defense is impressive.
Offense can pound the rock!

Ryle 13- Conner 3

Ryle 7- Conner 0

I believe the Raiders will bounce back with a strong defensive showing. Hopefully Lyons has settled into his role and can show up to play this week. I know he had a low performance against Cov Cath but he showed too much promise in the scrimmages to give up this quickly.

The Good:
I thought the Raiders Defense was leagues ahead of last seasons play. They played against their Endzone the entire game and had a lot of nice plays and big stops. Ryle’s Dline was impressive against the Behemoths Cov Cath has.
The Bad
They couldn’t put anything together on Offense, it looked very unorganized and the timing was severely off. I think they have a couple Good Lineman and a couple that need extra reps in practice.
The Ugly
Same problem as the last three seasons.
QB play - 5 INTs with 0 TDs= loss every time

I said we would learn a lot about NKY 6a tonight and judging by the scores of the other teams I would imagine Raiders have moved up.
