I can't believe Harper and Castellanos hit HRs again!
Wheeler was dealing yesterday.
Can both series start 2-0?
I'm guessing yes.

Playing two games on Feb. 3.

Kind of doubtful.

Looks pretty good for a pre season poll, let's play ball.
-
No, they will not win a game the rest of the way.

It would take a lot of money for me to move to California.
For 2.04 billion, I'll take a swing at it.

Makes me want to move to California.

If I had to make a pick to win I’ll say Woodford goes back to back. And I 100% agree about Steiner, he’s been coaching for a very long time and has had no real success in the post season.
I believe Woodford lost to many horses to repeat, at this early point I'll give the nod to Oldham County.

Nope, not until August of junior year.
Ok, the point I was getting at has been verified.

Couldn't imagine not getting support from that school. 🙄
In todays world, it's all about winning.

The official vs unofficial is just depending on who pays for the visit. The family or the school, but in all reality I’ve always heard the school is paying it’s just not known. Only 1 official visit per school now, but can go to as many schools as you want. I’m a big OSU football fan and there is rumors schools are giving 5k to just come on unofficial visits right now with all this NIL crap .
Can a sophomore make an unoffical or official vist?
-
I'm guessing he just got tired of losing, with no hope in sight.

I think it is interesting that if the Philles defeat the Braves that 3 of the 4 teams left this season will have been Wild Card teams.
If this happens, you could say all four were wild card teams. The Astros and Rangers had identical records, but the Astros were declared the division winner via the tiebreaker.

Yeah it’s a recruiting visit. Kentucky is recruiting, like many of the other top schools in the region. I’ve seen sites have him a 5 star in the 2026 class.
Is'nt this out of the official vist time frame?

Unfortunately, teams need to be built for a 162 game season to make the playoffs. Then, anything can happen in 1 series. If they replayed the games starting tomorrow, maybe Baltimore wins in 3. Just the way it goes.
Darn, why did'nt I think of that.LOL

That's a decent lineup of teams.
Would have been some decent teams in the past, but I believe most of them will be on the weak side this year. I'll take Montgomery County to win it.

Is this a plane reference, or a general statement? 😂

I definitely agree that it is going to get more and more out of hand, I just don't know if planes are a realistic option, lol.
The sky is the limit.

You wouldn't buy one, just lease time on it for them. Wouldn't be stupid expensive.
It won't be about being useful or practical, it will be about perceptions. Think of the recruiting swag every time one of your players post on social media from his private plane flight.
It's about to get stupid. 😆
It has already gotten stupid.

I say bring back Bauer. He's got his lawsuits behind him. He's a street FA. He's nuts, but he's an ace.
Then let's parlay some infield strength into pitching. I have little faith Lodolo or Ashcraft can last 2/3 of a season. So let's flip India for some pitching help. Former ROY with big upside should be a significant bargaining chip. Just my street GM approach.
I agree India is gone, but what kind of value does he have considering his feet problems.

All I want the Reds to do this off season is get some major league arms for the rotation and middle relief. They should have a little money to spend since Votto will be coming off of the books and most of the key pieces to the lineup are still under their first contract.
Let's Go Reds!
Agree with the pitching, I know it won't happen, but throw a closer in the mix also. I have a gut feeling Votto will back next year, but not with a 20 million dollar price tag.

Given what I've experienced in my 37 years of life in Greater Cincinnati having been too young to appreciate 1990, just being in contention for a playoff spot on the final weekend, is a good thing. If that's the floor next year, I'm pleased.
Yep, it's only a game, we'll have to take what is served up.

Ouch, I would classify this as a slap in the face to Coach Listerman.
