Thanks!!!! Just saw it pop up!!

I have searched high and low. I thought the game was tonight. What is the start time? Delayed from the storm? Postponed?
-
Casey actually had some brief (and impressive) varsity playing time at the end of his freshman year.
Very impressive as a freshman. I think he racked up about 350 rushing yards in a few games at end of the year as a freshman on the varsity level. Looking at stats he will most likely break most of the rushing and scoring records at CCH by the end of the year. Tough runner and has hands!! Good luck young man!!
-
Radar weather map forecast shows the rain to be moving out. Good luck to all of the competitors tonight!
You still there Owl? Is the weather going to hold off?
-
Michael Warner (Male) out-duels William Wharton (Lafayette) in the 400M dash in a deep field, as nine runners break 50.0 seconds.
Cov Cath's Luke Summe becomes the third member of NKY's "49 club" this year. Congratulations Luke! :thumb:
There were some studs out there. Summe was .13 off of CCH’s school record. Took home 8th. Has next year to better that time!!

The boys 400M is scheduled at 12:55 PM.
@CCHColonels44, are you at the meet today?
Just left. Sorry. Just saw this message. Looked all over for UNCLOVER but couldn’t find him....
-
From looking at the radar it looks like this won’t stop until 10 or 11. At what point do they postpone the AA meet? Do you think they will push back the AAA tomorrow or would they do the AA after the AAA tomorrow evening or possibly Sunday? Looks like we (AAA) are going to be dealing with the same mess tomorrow too..... I’d hate for any kid to not get to run their event like AAA 4x400 last year. I hope they have a contingency plan in place.
Just got my answer via twitter. Postponed until tomorrow after AAA....
-
This could be an erratic stop/start night. They were ready to resume just after 7:00. The meet is currently on a delay due to lightning. Up and running by 8:00?

Congrats to all teams and athletes that won an individual event or a team title. Also to all NKY teams that went on the big stage and gave it their all!! Nice showing by WV!!!! Good luck to all the AA teams tomorrow and AAA on Saturday!!! Hope the weather holds out for all of us.
We have now seen two runners from NKY break 49 in the 400. Evers (Bellevue A ) at State and Veneman (Highlands AA) Regions. Let's see Veneman do it again at state and Summe (CCH AAA) Get that mark on Saturday!!!
GO NKY Track & Field!!!

Following Here and ky.milesplit.com for live results. Seems if the 4x400 is still to be ran. Looks like qualifying times for Danville is 3:34 and for WV 3:37. Does the scores include all field events? I'd imagine so this late...... Looks like Danville will take this but hope WV can pull it out....

It was a great day at the track. Sorry I didn’t get a chance to meet up with UNCLOVER. Luke Summe swept the 200m and 400m respectively for CCH while CCH took home the region championship. Tough day on all of the runners as most were not used to this heat and the wind at CCHS was really strong on the backstretch.
Best of luck to all athletes and teams at State!!
-
Considering the Birds were 0-3 against CCH that was a silly thing for them to say. Of course, they may have meant in the Regionals.
True!!
-
Good job Colonels!!! I was told on BGP that the only way CCH would beat HHS this year is if HHS's bus broke down on the way to the game. Obviously it was a HHS fan. Looks like the bus made it and they didn't win.... twice.... That is why the game is played......

A spirit that will never die?
For sure!!! And for life!!! CCH!!!!!

No we are at Bryan Station Tomorrow, Boone County Championships on Monday and Ky relays on Saturday.
UNCLOVER, I would love to meet you at regions. You are class act sir. You up for that?
-
Congratulations to the Lady Pioneers from CCH!!!! Keep al titles in NKY!!!!!

No we are at Bryan Station Tomorrow, Boone County Championships on Monday and Ky relays on Saturday.
Best of luck this weekend and next week/ weekend. We are at Brother Borgia- Louisville St. X tomorrow then off until Thursday at Scott then Moeller next Saturday. Guess we won’t see each other until region!!
-
I agree with you!! It’s exciting to watch those two compete!! Plus we still have another year!! I also have much respect for Luke. There will be no more post on who wins what. Good luck to Luke and all the Cov Cath runners and all the Northern Ky teams!!
I’m with you there!! Both great athletes that we should just let compete. Best of luck to the Jags as well. Are you all at Scott next Thursday?

Wow!!! What a race!! Round 3 goes to Dillon!!
UNCLOVER,
I didn’t mean any disrespect or did I mean to discredit Dillion. He is an amazing athlete. I just think it needs to be a head to head race to count. To many variables in a relay unless they get the baton at the exact time. Cooper is a class act program.
-
I was at the NKAC Championships last night and wanted to say that the school spirit that the Cov Cath team displays is awesome and this is coming from a Cooper supporter. The support they show their teammates not only makes them better but also pushes the other competitors. Keep it up Cov Cath and see you at Regionals!!
Thanks for the compliment!!! It will be a battle at regions!!

Wow!!! What a race!! Round 3 goes to Dillon!!
How does round 3 go to Dillon? If your referring to the sprint medley at Conference that is wrong. Dillon got the baton 7 meters before Summe. Summe then passed him. Dillion caught back up with him with 50 meters left and only won by a step. So in reality Summe would have beat him by 6 1/2 meters..... Summe ran a sub 50 split. I know Dillon is fast but he didn’t win round 3.... Has to be head to head to count it against each other IMO...

:bunny: A rivalry discussion about T & F. :jump:
Doesn’t happen to often but these two great athletes have been battling it out every time they race for two years. It’s nice to see. They make each other so much better.
-
Round 1 in the 400 goes to Dillon Perry. Great race at the Donny Carnes Memorial. Dillon and Luke will both be under 50 seconds in the 400.
Round 2 to Summe with 50.86. Tied 1-1. This will be a great battle the rest of the year.
-
Luke got into the 50 mark on Friday by winning the 400 at Anderson. He won with a 50.89. Hope his legs aren’t to tired. He ran in a meet on Thursday, Friday, and now Saturday. Will be a great race.
Sorry. It was a 50.93 for Summe at the Anderson Invite....
