My understanding as well.  Conner admin chose to pass on Sullivan.

Now, if that's true, I'd really love to dig deep and get an in-depth look at that decision process. How in the world do you EVER pass on a coach like Tim Sullivan?

Or does it mean that it's ok for coaches to be abusive towards players in the interest of "toughening them up"?

Way Way Way too much of this all over - especially in NKY high school and youth circles. It's ridiculous. The constant non-stop auto-defense of coaches accused of this stuff has gotten so old. For many people - including shockingly on this forum - there must be no coaches that ever cross the line.

Snippets? Over the last 10 games we almost saw the whole show. He was not very good in November and December. Don't know whether it was more attitude based or a sudden decline in skills, although the real answer is probably somewhere in between. And likely both scenarios were evident enough which is why the Bills dumped him despite the big cap hit AND not having a real replacement.

You're missing the most glaring reason why he struggled at the end of the season. The OC switch from Ken Dorsey to Joe Brady. With Brady calling the shots, Diggs had only 315 yards receiving in the last 7 games, but the Bills went 6-1. Then, when given a shot to shine in the playoffs, he failed miserably, dropping a ball he should have caught in the 4th quarter against the Chiefs.

Aside from that, he'll be 31 by the end of the 24 NFL season and by trading him before 6/1 they'll get an additional 27.3M in cap space for 25. Also, the WR class in this year's draft is stacked. They're going to get a good replacement in R1 or R2 for sure.

I'm not sure why this is that much of a shock to anyone that he was traded..

Tough break for the Colonels, a good team that dealt North Oldham and Wofo their only losses within the 8th Region. Someone of consequence in the 8th wasn't going to make it out of this district.

On an individual note, this wraps up the career of Max Green, the state's leading scorer and an all-around dynamic player. He went out on his shield with 27 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals.

What a career! Will he be playing anywhere at the next level?

  7. Final.

    Highlands (16-14) - Vinson 16, Shick 14, Moeves 12, Kirst 7, Rickard 6, Listerman 5, Bouldin 3, Hicks 3. THREES - Moeves 3, Shick 2, Hicks, Kirst
