I agree. Igo looked like she had no problems cutting and moving side to side and the ankle appeared to not slow her down however she did look alittle rusty on the shooting side of things.

I would say Campbell has it at this point since they just knocked off the number 1.

Since Campbell beat Montini and they are ranked in the top 15 shouldn't that move Campbell into the top 25.

The Camels travel to Montgomery tomorrow night to take on the Indians. What can we expect from this game? Will Clos and Jolly be to much for the Indians to handle?

The Lady Cards travel to Claryville Friday night to take on the red hot Lady Camels. This will be a battle for the 10th region first place spot. Can the Lady Cards handle the smothering defense of the Lady Camels and the Lady Camels big 3 and can the Lady Camels handle the length and athleticism of the Lady Cards and will Igo be in the lineup for the Lady Cards?

I'm going with PC by 5 in this one. It's hard to win at PC and I think PC has been playing solid basketball this season so far and it seems GRC has struggled to get wins this season.

My thoughts also...what's the deal with the big fella. He's got to get you more than two points.

Are they just not getting him the ball or is he just having trouble getting shots to fall?

It looks like young Niece is following in his sisters footsteps. Great game for Kelly!! I'm glad to see Kitchens getting more involved as well. Looks as if he played a great game as well.

Camels got off to a rough start in the first half but made some adjustments at halftime and came out with much more intensity the second half. The Camels have to play with that intensity every game the whole game. When this team shares the ball and gets after it on defense they are dangerous. Clos and Jolly both had big games last night. Clos had 21 points and 10 rebounds and was relentless on defense while Jolly had 26 points and several rebounds as well.

Sounds like The Lady Camels big 3 were huge tonight.

Campbell Co that much higher that GRC? We will see as Campbell plays Male this week.

 

GRC still without top PG Kennedy Igo. She has not played in a game so far this year. Ankle injury.

Campbell is off to a 2-0 start and one of those was a double digit win over a nationally ranked team in Montini Catholic. So not sure how that wouldn't move them up the rankings. I think Campbell is deserving of their ranking on this list. It has nothing to do with GRC and their ranking.

The Camels travel to Covington to play Holy Cross. Who wins this game and why?

Tanner Clos is averaging 14 ppg, 5 rpg and shooting 67% from the field so far this season.

The girl going to OSU and the girl going to Valpo played 95% of the game and the girl going to Wake Forest played several minutes.

Unless the 3 division 1 players are on their bench then I would say they played their starters since they played most of the game.

This should be a great matchup in Claryville this Tuesday night. Lady Camels coming off of a big win Saturday against nationally rank Montini Catholic. Who wins this game and why?

That should tell you how good this Lady Camels defense is this year. Montini Catholic struggled all night with trying to get the ball across the timeline. Montini has a 6"5 girl committed to Wake Forest a 6"3 girl committed to OSU and their point guard is headed to Valpo. They are a very good team.

The Lady Camels defense was relentless tonight. They created chaos for the Montini girls all night. What a game and what a win for this Lady Camels team. This Lady Camels team is for real. Hats off to Coach Menefee for coaching one heck of a game tonight. Clos and Schwarber named all tourney team.

Clos had a nice game even though he was saddled on the bench in foul trouble for a big part of the game.

I think Lawrence also had 10 points which put 5 Camels players in double digits.

This game was never really close from the start. Campbell came out of the gate firing on all cylinders and never looked back. Cooper never stopped battling throughout the whole game.
