This past week Trinity lost to Jeffersontown 62-58 but were playing without all-region caliber player Andrae Vasser who I assume is injured since missed a couple games before this one. Saint Xavier went 3-0 this week and their offense continues to put up points scoring 80+ points in all three wins. Manual has looked very good going 2-0 and beating rival Male in impressive fashion 70-46 and were led by Justice Decker's 19 pts and 13 rebounds. Christian Academy-Louisville went 2-0 and had a big win over KCD 91-56. One last week of play left then the post season where it will get very interesting.
1. Trinity (20-6)
2. Saint Xavier (25-3)
3. Manual (23-3)
4. Male (19-9)
5. Christian Academy - Louisville (15-11)
6. Ballard (12-13)
7. Eastern (19-8)
8. Seneca (13-13)
9. Atherton (14-11)
10. KY Country Day (16-9)
11. Central (4-15)
12. Highlands Latin (20-8)
13. Waggener (8-14)
14. Shawnee (13-11)
15. Collegiate (11-15)
16. Francis Parker (6-15)
17. Brown (7-19)
18. Portland Christian (3-22)

St. X has only lost to one Kentucky team and that's Trinity but have had many close games so the 2nd tier you listed them in is ok.
-
Didn't expect a beat down in this game. Manual going to be tough out in 7th Region Tournament.

Big win for the Chargers!

Good game between two good teams.

I'll only go if St. X is in it. If it was in Louisville, I would maybe go to some games but I really don't want to drive an hour for teams I have no rooting interest plus I coach track and have practice and meets for that so another impediment to attending.

I believe Trinity was 5-0 vs St X in 2023 across F, JV and Varsity. Anyone know how the Tigers did vs Male and Manual at all 3 levels?
Manual and Male field froshmore teams so I don't put a lot of stock in those games but results were:
Frosh lost to Male 24-18
JV beat Male 34-0
Varsity beat Male 20-10
Beat Manual froshmore 26-20
Varsity lost to Manual 37-36

If St. X wins these last three games, I believe their regular season record would be 23-3. In terms of regular season winning percentage, this would be their best winning percentage since......when? It has been a very good year for the Tigers to say the least.
Last time they were in Sweet 16 was in 1995. I looked back to 1998 on KHSAA scoreboard and most wins was 23 and they had several region runner up finishes. I think post season performance is most important so will have to see how they finish this season.

Tigers have Ryle, Seneca, and North Oldham last 3 games so 2 tough teams and Seneca has one of best players in 7th Region with QuelRon House.

Technicals on both teams coaches tonight. It seems they aren't happy with the officiating. Lol.

I think I'm worn out just watching this fast paced game. OC looked like they were gassed from playing that pace. Should be an interesting 2nd half.

That all-important No. 1 seed in this district! 😂
Right, important to dodge a first round matchup with Collegiate and play Brown. 😂

Tigers go on road and survive tough Male team. St. X was up 9 at start of 4th quarter but Male made some shots to make it interesting. Tigers hit free throws down the stretch to get the win. These teams will be going at it in district championship which will be the one that matters most.
