He has the potential to be a really good one at the QB position for the Tigers.

I agree. I watched him at JV level last year and he is mobile with accuracy in passing. Had he not got injured in last JV game would have started for varsity at end of season and playoffs.

KY Milesplit is pretty much the go-to for track and field.  It’s always interesting to me to compare virtual/projected vs actual results.  Projections are tough because there are sooooo many variables.

Right, Wind plays a big factor in results and have to show up at state meet with healthy roster. I've always thought have to have good luck at end of season since one key guy/girl is injured which could cost you championship.

  3. Like always, the 7th Region will be tough again as the top teams all return some big-time players. One thing that can change things is transfers which at this point is unpredictable.

Saint Xavier (30-4) returns all five starters with Chance Dillingham 17.0 ppg, Jeremiah Jackson 14.8, Will Hanke 11.5, Jermaine Cameron 8.6, and Graham Krezmien 8.1. They also return all their key reserves and look to be one of the best teams in the state.

Trinity (27-8) returns three of their top 5 scorers and will certainly be capable of winning the region again with Jayden Johnson 11.5 ppg., Julius Edmonds 11.5, and Josiah Lawson 5.0. They also return some key reserves.

Male (22-11) returns maybe the best shooter in the region with Cole Edelen 21.4 ppg., along with Jayson Gasaway 9.9, and Keashawn Jordan 6.5. With a player like Cole Edelen they will be a contender in the region.

Manual (28-5) returns their top two scores with Malachi Coleman 15.9 ppg and Justice Decker 13.8. This duo is one can build around and will have a formidable team and can't be counted out.

Ballard (14-16) was young and improved throughout the season and return four of the top five scorers with Sam Frazier 18.4 ppg, Nate Richardson 11.6, Cash Whitehead 10.6, and Nick Hayden 7.9. They also return Cayon Gaines 7.0. These Bruins should resemble the Bruin teams of old more than they did this year.

  4. I've heard that they can get around Cronin's buyout due to loophole in contract since they are changing conferences so would make him a candidate and he would go to Louisville because coached there as assistant plus is into horses.
