  1. I was not going to get involved until you mentioned the AD and accused him of doing things that simply did not happen. My husband recorded the game and the celebration on the field and after I saw this post, I looked at the recording 3 times. Our AD did not lead the charge onto the field with the students. He did not jump up and down on the field with the students. AFTER the student celebration, he was walking across the field to the opposite sideline and some of the students gave him high fives when they passed him when they were making their way back to the stands. Our AD continued walking over to the sidelines where the players were standing. THIS is what happened. By the way, I saw several CCHS parents and players that I know at the game last night. I wished them luck in their game and wished them luck in the rest of the regional tournament. Yes, my daughter plays for BBHS but I also root for CCHS (well - not when we are playing each other!) I am happy for CCHS when they do well - when any of OUR teams from Alexandria do well, it is a nice reflection on OUR schools and OUR community!!!

  7. I am a Campbell County graduate and attended NKU. My husband and I have been traveling to our kids sporting events for 12 plus years (grade school, high school and club) We have three children - our oldest daughter played volleyball at Brossart (graduated in 2014); our son played soccer and ran track at Brossart (graduated in 2016); and our youngest daughter is a sophomore at Brossart - she plays soccer, basketball and softball.
  8. The game was tied after the overtime period and was decided by penalty kicks. Congratulations to both teams for playing hard in the hot weather, and for showing good sportsmanship.
