Now I think any of us in the county knows that the reason that JV was as successful as it was may have been because of Coach Aaron Conn whom left the program. He was a outstanding coach who got those kids to compete at that level. Former head coach Newton agreed with the opinion last season. I heard him speak to a friend of his about that very subject. However as a supporter of those kids I hope that they do well. But I will say this and there is no questioning this point. Coach Kyle destroyed the 8th grade and Freshman teams last season. Walking out on those kids twice. And as I said we know that the shelves are definately bair. Personally I hope that Logan Stafford becomes the elite point guard that I have heard some say he could be. I hope that many of the kids will be coachable this season because last year they weren't.

Here is what you need to know about the Jackets. Barnett tends to get in trouble because he simply isn't physical at all. He will put the ball on the floor and trys to become a guard. He can be a nice player though and is a ez a coachable player. The Jackets have nothing coming up. When I say they have no talent in the well thats what I mean. Very sad. Logan Stafford could be a really outstanding point guard but makes really bad decissions and gets lost in the game. They aren't a big team by any means but could have been. 6'4 Freshman Daniel Wiggins could have and would have played but the new coach didn't want to even meet the kid when he was playing baseball. Which for coach Simms is a blessing. The kid has a arm. On the court he took up a a lot of space and forced teams into tournovers last season on the freshman circuit. With a little coaching had the potential to be one of the best bigs to come out of Nicholas in close to 30 years. If coach wants to add length he needs to be buring up the phone line. The kid nor his father are hard to find. Just my thought on the matter
