  1. DeSales is in a good situation, small enrollment, all boys. They could never reach the numbers at St.X, Trinity and they don't want to. But they are great alternative to the big schools. There is a lot to be said for small class sizes and the personal attention the students can get at DeSales. And I agree with DeSales Dad....

  2. DeSales still has work to do. Not to take the shine off a win over 6A Ballard, but their not the same team they were last year. They lost a lot to graduation...then so did we. Man their QB can sling it !....Butler won big tonight so let see how we fair against them Bears next Friday. ..

  3. We got to make changes from the first game like mixing up the offense plays, too predictable first game. Secodly, No BIG plays given up by the D....keep a man on Wright. Herbert's kicking look much better last week, needs to be a little deeper on KO's, EP's were 'crispier' up & overy easily.....injuries are have hit us hard, but we got to get by that.. ..Come out hard hitting with no mistakes and we can pull the upset. Hoping for a clean, safe game....

  4. Great suggestions Pete W,,,,, Hoops(I like their Rueben sandwich) Rubbies (smoked wings are a must) are great spots and both serve adult beverages (if you like that sort of thing). Also you can get Jimbo's BBQ at the corner of Newcut & Kenwood Dr., across from Iroquois Park. Speaking of Iroquois Park, there is parking there, but they are hosting the Pumpkin Festival which is very popular....so I can say if parking is going to be available there.....

  5. Picking DeSales on this meeting between these 2A powerhouses....and the fact that I'm a Colt fan, lol. New stadium, big crowd makes the difference in this rivalry. But I must say that CAL comes in with a very impressive resume. They got great skill players, Carr,Wright etc...they're game changers. But I really like the speed of the Colts D and if we can generate enough offense and keep the ball out of the fore mention Centurion players hands, then that could make the scoring low and play into DeSales favor..... Let's have a fun and safe game tomorrow night. GO COLTS

  6. Sounds like North Hardin is much improved this year. TV reported they use 2 QBS and their only loss was to defending 4A state Champs South Warren. Should be hard fought battle this Friday. Courier Journal's Jason Frakes predicted a DeSales win 27-20.....I'm sure it's going to be much closer then last year's game. Go Colts!

  7. We have made some improvement on offense with new QB and some changes on O-line. Getting our top runningback back is going to add some dept in the rushing position. Defense gave up a long run and a long pass, other then that they were very strong again....nice win over Bluegrasspreps 5A #4 team....
