  1. Not knowing the logic behind the model, it appears it gives more wait to recent games. Highlands and Owensboro Catholic have the exact same record at 16-2-1. The SOS for Highlands is #10 and OC #79. Add in the fact that Highlands beat OC, not sure how OC can be ranked #1 with Highlands at #7.
  2. Flick over the head and the Manual girl chests it into the goal. Routine save: Depends on what opinion people have.
  3. Highlands 2-0. Seeing Manual play both NDA and Highlands I would bet on NDA in the regional game. NDA controlled the ball more but Manual controlled it more than Highlands. Game should have been 0-0 if not for 2 fluke goals.
  4. Highlands is switching places with SHA and will now play Manual on Wednesday and SHA will play NDA on Thursday.
  5. Manual won 3-1. WJ scored 9 minutes into the game. Manual made a defensive adjustment and then held them scoreless the rest of the game.
  6. Good accomplishment but Birdie you hit the nail on the head. The previous TNHS coach believes in playing a really bad schedule so he could have a real good record. Like 2013 when they went 19-1 during the season then lost first round of districts. The new coach has really amped up their schedule. Thus the reason why she had 120 goals her fresh/soph years and 71 jr/sr year. If the previous coach was still coaching she would have beat the record her junior year. Not trying to take anything away from her because she is one of the best scorers/finishers in the state.
  7. South Oldham did lose their best player, Stephanie Rowland (Ohio University). She was their leading scorer with 43 last year. They also lost their second leading scorer (9 goals). They will still be good this year but may struggle to win their region this year.
