  1. I think I'd be more concerned with the arms of the pitchers. No need to worry about the catcher if they can't get on base. Not saying they can't, but that would be my first concern when facing the Birds staff.

I understand what you're saying but I'm saying that the musketeers game is based on small ball speed and base running offensively. So the arm does come into play a lot. Greenup pitching staff doesn't have a blow by you guy but they all hit spots throw good off speed stuff and position themselves well for each called

  2. Greenup needed to do something with Tackett and decided against it. Talent level is still decently high even though they have a lack of size. Hughes is a playmaker but needs to continue to work, gammon will be a surprise on this years team. I also look for jerrell to excel even after losing his brother to graduation. They will need help down low against big strong teams. Look for this team to be perimeter based with the likes of wireman and hughes getting alot of 3's up. Greenup will need to play a fast paced game but instead Tackett will try to control the tempo at a slow pace which will probably kill there chances at a winning record. TIME FOR TACKETT TO GO!! GCHS will have a few good incoming freshman that could potentially see a little varsity time to build for later on. Hunter Howard, Beck Collins, and Brecken Thomas. Names to check out in a few years if the right coach gets there to help them progress.

  3. I believe Greenup will counter with Hayden or Coldiron. Coldiron struggled wednesday night but has shown good control all year and has good wins including one vs Saint X. Gammon, Hughes, and even Keeton could throw sparingly if needed. I look for the musketeers to continue to be strong on the base paths, anyone know the arm strength of Highlands catcher? If i were a betting man i would say it's nothing like the arm of Shoupe's.
