Those of you that are actual coaches on here are just as guilty regarding the hiring process. You should want to work for someone who doesn't support you, and if you're not asking that question in your interview and provide some substantial evidence towards it...you're doing yourself a disservice. I've never been in a first or second round interview with a "committee" that asks X's and O's except for one time. I politely called them the next day and asked them to remove my name from the applicant list It's all about how you're going to build something with the Jim and Joes of now to be a staple in the community for the littler ones in 3/4 years. I coach for the kids and the folks who support our vision, not for mr and Mrs Qb1 and my skin is thick enough to deal with it. I left the state not because of where coaching is going but because a principal I worked for before got a job along a beach and wanted some young energy to build a new culture around athletics.

Saw a post and heard from a district rival about a 7 million dollar anonymous donation to Frankfort County High. Any comments or knowledge?

Cameron Dukes- Football- Top Leading Passer for regular season in State-- Verbal commitment to Lindsey Wilson College Basketball- Averaging 29 ppg and 8 assists Baseball- Standout shortstop, #3 hitter and Ace on the bump. Not to mention has a fantastic idea about how respect and attitude effects you in every way. Sean Sanders- Football- 3 year starter, 2 time All district, All region honorable mention Jr. and All region Center his Sr. Year Wrestler- 4th in the state in 285 weight class, undefeated thus far this season Track- I don't even know what stats in track looks like, I just know the kid throws. Two fantastic kids out of the Bullitt County Area.

Rumor around Southern Louisville Bullitt County area is that Bullitt East let go of Darrell Vincent today and/or he resigned as coach. If it didn't happen today, it is happening soon.

Back to the top. Rumors are starting to mill around central KY and some Hardin County schools but one of the moderators asked to keep rumors off this thread. Anyone else here of anything going around? I can confirm from multiple sources that Glazer has begun to talk to assistant coaches about working for him. None of them said the school he was looking at, but none of them are unintelligent either, keeping mouths shut and fingers crossed until t's are crossed and i's are dotted.

What's the word around Nelson County? Is Nelson County football, filled with tradition, pride, and success a changing environment? Or is Egli not the right guy for the job? From hearing conversations with athletes both past and present, rumor has it he's not the same coach.
