  1. I don't have the official stats, but my son said coach mentioned in the locker room that they had missed 17 or more few throws....I stopped counting when it reached double digits :ohbrother: We normally are a pretty good shooting FT team...my guess probably in the about 70% as a team for the year. Just another one of things that has to be done consistently to win at the high level.
  2. Thanks, looks good:thumb: I think the top 3 are interchangeable, and separate themselves from the rest of the pact with a pretty wide margin. 4 thru 14, I think, all are on par with each other and will make for some pretty interesting back and forth over the next couple of weeks. I think the field has a lot of catching up to get to the top 3, but it sure will make for some great basketball to be played out as the season continues to unfold.
  3. And the fact we were 10 for 30 from the line didn't help the game much either. On to the next one.
  4. After watching Scott Co. play us, and seeing Bryan Station play us I think that will be a good matchup. I really don't think Station has anybody that can play with Moreno, he is a big body and can move very well for his size. My guess is Boone will guard him, and athletically Boone can keep up with him I don't know that he will be able to handle the physical size. Stations speed could pose a problem for Robb, but he too is very athletic and knows how to move without the ball very well. My guess is Scott Co. comes way with the win by about 8. But, then again, I have been shorting Bryan Station all your long only to be proven wrong a lot. It should be a great game.
  5. The game went about the way that is thought it would, not how I wanted it too. :ohbrother: Scoot Co. has a very nice team and they do a lot of things right. Moreno was really played to a stalemate by Cozart, in fact I would say that Cozart got the better of the match up this go around. With that being said, we had no answer for Cooper Robb. I have enjoyed watching him play since the first time I saw him 3 years ago. He can jump out of the gym, he is a great athlete with great body control and has a good feel for the game and his positioning on the court. He had some really nice assists and some really good defensive plays when it looked like he was beat. He got a couple of fingers tips on shots that the shooter probably thought they had a clean look. All in all, Scott Co. looked like the 1,2,or 3 team, depending on the poll in the state. Central ran into the same problems that plague them a lot. Not trusting our outside shooting and driving everything to the lane. My worry going in was, us hitting a period in the game when we didn't or couldn't score and that happened in the 3rd. We had gotten the game to 1 point and the next 3 trips down the court we either had unforced turnovers or missed shots. Scott Co came down and scored on everyone of their possessions, you blinked, and we were down 8. After that point we could never get back below 8. The score ended up being more of a blow out then the game actually was because of the last 2 minutes of bench scoring and them just shooting up 3's. Cozrt had a really good game and continues to show that he will be a real force as he finishes this year and moves into his senior year. The "D" was good, but again, we need to capitalize on it and make every offensive possession count. Shoot from the outside more and open the floor up more. Still a lot of games and time left to get ready for the district and region tournemnts. We still have Trinity, Ballard, Lex Cath, Cov Cath, to finish up the season, so hopefully we figure it out as we get toward the finish line. As always............ROLLTIBEEEEEEEEEEEEE and ROLLTIDEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
  6. Final from Scott co More thoughts when I get home.

  8. He likes playing against us. He had 32 last year
  9. On the other hand we can’t make a FT Have plenty of opportunities, shooting one and one with 7 minutes left.
  10. Had it within one but went on a dry spell and Scott Co makes you pay if you don’t score

  12. Robb shooting 2 Make Make 52-42
  13. Central shooting 2 Miss Make 50-42
