No doubt about it. Jones, Martin, Raisor are a very good top 3. I haven't seen Doty but I know PBR has had very good things to say about him.

Very good breakdown of Highlands. I think they are the favorite along with Beechwood to win the 9th region but I think the region may be even tougher to get out of than it was last year. Ryle and Boone have the two best pitchers in the region with Ziegelmeyer and Purnell. I would not want to face one of those guys in the first round. Highlands staff is very deep which bodes well for them in a tournament where you have to win 3 games in 3 days. Should be another year of great 9th region baseball!

1B is a middle of the order type position. He has great size for the first base position and he has one thing in his favor being a left handed hitter but in order to get serious interest at the D1 level as a 1B I think he is definitely going to have to show he can hit for some power.

Would like to see Heppler show some power this spring. According to those stats that were posted he had 40 hits with only 4 extra base hits (all doubles). Have to have some pop as a first baseman at the college level.
