Trinitys JV might play more than their varsity if they were to meet SK in a state final. Trinity by many.
-
UofK has even played there. Lots of history took place inside the bricked fence. You feel the history as you pass through the huge iron gates. I've been to the old stadium in Ironton- this one reminds me of a smaller version.

Lack of parking? It's in an old Louisville neighborhood. That's like saying that you can't stand Wrigley!

Manual Stadium trumps them all

Any trades for players to be named later?

Ballard wasn't at full strength and just destroyed Fern Creek. They lost in OT to Dunbar.... Both teams looked spent.

LaBradford Smiths kid Nick is a good scorer who has enjoyed a nice AAU summer. Brian Alvey logged some good minutes at the two spot last year and can fill it up- this team will have to fill some holes left from graduation last year but I expect some juniors who are really good at being active on defense to step up. Expectations are similar to last year. Who knew Jalen Perry would play so well... Hopefully someone else will step up. I think Wilson could averGe 17 PPG.

That defense should be exceptionally strong...Foos, Lococo, Lowe- all will play at the next level somewhere.

Until trinity learns to push the pace- their best team has left the building.

The point guard Jamil wilson is crazy good and has been groomed to be an extension of Coach Renner. They've had an all hands on deck to their approach to summer ball so far. They've got multiple threats from beyond the three point line and kids that just get after it on defense. Their bigs are football players who are physical but not exceptionally tall. It's the system... It works. They win and they expect to win. Funny to think that Waggener may be their toughest for in the 7th region. Central is well coached too- those two programs are clones this year.

Summer ball delusions. You could make a strong case for a lot of teams in June- let's talk after the KOB.

Malik Dow attended UofLs camp this past Saturday. He wore his cousins #9 jersey during the camp. He looked the part. Mercer county fans should enjoy the tall target. By no means is he Devante... But he ain't bad!

Winslow looked like the best football player on the field at the Kentucky Wesleyan camp this weekend. He most definitely passes the eye test. Win or lose FC- make sure he's the first kid who steps off the bus.

I didn't want to believe the hype. Small school kid with a lacrosse sounding name. Carson??? He's straight up beast. Enough said

Brandon Wells in 7th? Hoss from Ballard?

7th region representation is awful! Waggener alone has three better players.

Superior freakish Citation like bloodlines... Trinity.

That's a big sophomore. Whose trough is he eating out of? Congrats!

The Breit kid is a student of the game. I think he's a QB who could wrap his arms around a new offense well. I look for him to start and play well.

I saw Jalen Perry last night. He was honored to be BGPs player of the year! He was unaware that he was chosen. You best believe I let him know that it was quite an honor! When it comes to high school basketball, BGP stands alone.

He loves playing in Tennessee. Hung 41 on a good Christ Prebsbyterian Academy back in December.

I understand that. But nothing stops the Saxophone prodigy from School "A" form transferring and being able to participate when after meeting School "B"'s band director and realizing he is the saxophone whisperer. He transfers and gets first chair and the solo in the holiday show right away. And nothing stops the kid with a 34 ACT score from transferring to the private school in the next town because they offer more college courses that will set him up better for his future major. In fact many tell him he'd be crazy not to do so. Recruiting happens in all school programs whether it's band or basketball. It however, is only viewed as a problem when it's sports. Heck, schools go out of their way to tell everyone how great their academic programs are in order to attract and retain students. Nothing wrong with that at all, and no one bats an eye. When did sports become more important??
Where is this saxophone prodigy?

I live in a world where you go to one high school. In your district. Dinosaur here
