I disagree that his body is built to absorb contact. After the multiple concussions he's suffered, I fear the next one might be the one that sends him to the sidelines. I can count four episodes...
-
AustinJohnson- that punter can placekick... And play QB...

Could be the most competitive game of the night. I'm surprised more people aren't talking about it. The thread leans DeSales' way- but the DeSales fans wonder why.
-
The Fiddlin' 5, The Unforgettables, Rupps Runts. All good teams need a nickname. The Bylaw 6's?
-
Ballards not a bad team. Ballard has some issues with their DBs. DeSales QB can throw it around so he may have some success like Shelton from Male had...but DeSales is not Male. This will be a close game. Ballard spotted Male 14 points because of problems with their punting team- if they fix those issues they'll compete.
-
I follow Ballard and I have no idea who this guy is?? Fern Creek plays as hard as their coach teaches. They need size badly.
-
The rocks defense will be able to get to Males QB. Their offensive line is big but I can't see them being able to hold their blocks vs T. Males defense is fast but they haven't seen the likes of an offense like Trinitys.
-
I hope he does well for UK also. I wouldn't be too excited about playing against Trinitys defense in a scrimmage. Damon Lowe is probably out to impress a few college scouts. He sure impressed them last Friday!
-
Why the mass exodus from Doss? I believe Central may have picked up a Jeffersonville transfer with decent size too...Anthony Southers.
-
Lex Catholic is very fast. Made Ballard DBs look slow. Great fans and a nice team. #3 can fly.
-
His Dad is an assistant coach at TC. I'd doubt he'd leave.
-
Scrimmage...nothing more.
-
Too many adjusted heights on the list! Take most on the list and subtract 2-3 inches.
-
Males coaches aren't bad. Trinity lost a good o-line coach too.
-
Much respect. Trinity is the gold standard. The public school underdog in me likes the dawgs though! I'm not alone. Trinity fans wear those green goggles at times. This class of '16 at Male has pretty much handled them since they were freshman.... Except when it's counted the most.
-
I think Colvin was the only kid to start as a sophomore at T. Foos and Lowe are beasts on defense- but I give the advantage to Male when it comes to athletes. I'd say Males coach gets it done- he does more with less numbers. He'd do even more if some of those rec league kids would opt to go to Male instead of Trinity.
-
Quarterback may be a good place to start...Hayden Shelton is absolutely ready to take over the starting role at Male...Who's taking Youngs place at Trinity? Zackery Smiths not a bad WR/KR either... Male has 9 seniors who started as sophomores. I think Trinity has 3 who did the same. Talent advantage>Male

my son does play for Coach Jackson...and I'm thrilled. He's all about kids playing at the next level - not just Ballard kids. His annual small college camp is a testament to his dedication to kids who play the greatest team sport of all. Go Bruins!
-
Congratulations to Lamarius Kinslow. Full ride to WKU. 6-2 and 225 and the fact that he shows up to camps and shows out landed him a scholarship. They have no idea as to which side of the ball he will play on...but I guarantee he will play.

Drones flying over S K... 40 times and max lifts inflated. Breaking news sports fans!

I've seen a lot of highlight tapes but this is a highlight tape against high level competition. Sure hope Louisville gets him!
-
A lot of these kids and their parents are in the same boat- just wanting a look and a chance to play college ball. I would suggest that Louisville families host out of town prospects and parents. A cookout could be held when the camp ends. I'd imagine some good will could forge some new found friendships.

What success? We've yet to see it.

Classy great fans at DeSales. I'm a Ballard parent and I was impressed with the school spirit and hospitality that I witnessed on a field that was not even your own. You gotta great team!
