I suspect he picked HHS for the same reason I picked CCH. Whichever team finishes second in the district likely has to go down to Lexington Catholic and face the best QB in the state.
Ultimately, the district games matter WAY, WAY more than any of the non-district ones. Heck, for CCH the Grant Co game is more meaningful than the Beechwood game.
Yeah, but I don't have to do dishes for a week straight if we lose to Highlands.
In theory, I agree with you regarding the big picture. However, if HHS started losing to Campbell Co. every year you may change your tune about back-yard losses.

Highlands. No one else even comes a close second
Oh I don't know B.C., I would call Beechwood a "close second."

Mrs. PH, it is an absolute pleasure to have you here. I wish I could convince my wife to join as well...Mrs. Hssb would be a hoot to have around. That is, if you all enjoy being bossed around as much as I do.
Seriously though, welcome aboard.

Mr. Network, this is a terrific idea and a great gesture. I would be honored to sponsor an additional 5 students.
Guru, that makes a total of 15 scholarships, I believe.

As College Football season approaches, and the spirited rivalries between area schools heats back up, we feel like it is time for a little friendly reminder. Threads about UK, UL, or UC need to remain that way. If you want to start a thread comparing or contrasting any of the local programs, then you need to state that in the title of the thread. The habit of thread-jacking has become en vogue, and we want to make it clear, that especially in this forum, it ends now. Any and all attempts to divert a thread about a local program into another debate between schools will be viewed as a rules violation.
Thanks. I hope everyone's team of choice enjoys a healthy and successful fall season.
