Johnson with a nice throw on the run for a 37 yard TD pass for Union County. Hart leads 24-21 with 3:03 to go. 

Hart 20 yard or so TD pass from Shoulders to Shoulders. Raiders 24-14 with 4:37 to go 

UC punts to HC 27 with about 10 minutes left. Hart 17-14.

Hart stops Union on 4th down and takes over at their own 33. UC 7-3 with about 4 minutes before halftime. 

Union is using Johnson more as a running back tonight and not taking as many snaps as he usually does. 

Union stops Hart on 4th down at the UC 3. Braves take over there and Johnson breaks a 50+ yard run immediately.

I believe Hart County will take this one by more than most think. I’ve seen them both play and Union County has virtually no passing game except for throwing it deep and hoping they get someone open behind everybody. They are also somewhat careless with the ball. Jarren Johnson is dangerous for UC if he can get some running room. Hart doesn’t throw it much but they have a bit more sophistication with their passing game than Union. Union was good on stopping the run up the middle against FS but FS got several good gains around the ends. A few dropped passes spelled doom for the Wildcats against Union.  Hart County is a more complete team. Their defense is quick and works together very well. Their offense will have an easier time moving the ball against Union than FS did and I think that will be the difference in the game. I like the Raiders 28-14. 

I hated the outcome of course but it was a great game to watch. FS punting game was great and pinned Union deep a few times which led to almost all of the FS scoring. Johnson for Union was bottled up several times but when he did get loose he hit several big plays, especially on the two point conversions which made the difference in the game. Back and forth good defense until the 4th quarter then the offenses fired up and traded blows. FS went for 2 and the lead late but the pass was batted down. 
 

I had never been to a game at Union County before but it was a great place to watch a game. The field sits in a bowl with the stands on both sides built up on banks. I was able to walk along the top of the bank and follow the whole game back and forth and see everything very well. Good luck to the Braves going forward. FS had a good year, 9-3 and had a chance to win every game. 

And Dickerson is sacked before he can get off a desperation pass. 
 

Final score Union County wins 23-22. Too many missed opportunities for FS. 

Well somehow UC didn’t run out the clock and FS stops them on 4th down and FS has it at midfield with 13 seconds left. 

Onside kick didn’t go ten yards. Braves recover and will win this one as FS has only one timeout left. 

Pass is deflected in the end zone. UC leading 23-22 with 1:31 to go. That had disaster written all over it. 

FS is lining up for 2. 

1:31 to go and I think they may go for 2.
