Henderson has all five starters back that finished the season and post season. They have all kinds of out side shooters and drivers. Their question will be the post. They have a 6'8 kid that had a pretty good summer. David Simmons will be right their for player of the year in the 2nd region. David has a awesome highlight film on you tube. Dj Washington is a very fast point guard who began to score at the end of the year. If he can score and pass he makes the offense that much better. Then they have Smith, Crowley, and Norman who all can shot the three ball and drive. So with that said post play will be the question?? They have a very tough schedule so look for 20 wins and in the hunt for the sweet sixteen.

Henderson beat the Red Devils last year don't see them playing within two tds of bowling green but sure wish they could upset them.

I'm proud of Union for playing with them for a half and their best player didn't play in the game.

After seeing Christian give up more than 40 points twice I think henderson wins 45-42

Big rivalry game! Henderson takes the parkway south for a cols vs cols match up. Last two years this game has came down to the end. Two years ago at Christian, henderson made a field goal to send the game to overtime and henderson won the game.

Richard carter threw for 260 yards. Kobe carter caught 10 passes for 192 yards. This offense looked total different then last week.

McCraken county is the real deal. I hope they get out of the first round of the playoffs this year which would make a statement since they have the super district this year. I was also hoping Henderson would have a shot to get out of the first round, they have had some upsets in the playoffs in the first two rounds it was the finals where they got beat three years in a roll, but Henderson right now looks like they will have a problem just keeping a playoff game out of the running clock area. And i'm glad their are more western ky people on here too!!!

I like all your picks but the 2nd. How is UHA better then Henderson? Henderson beat them back to back years and lost no players at all.

I do believe the defense hangs the cols in the game until the end for a 10-7 win.

Can Henderson county over come a slow start offensively and cross the bridge and beat evansville north? Last game came down to last second.

Henderson county for some reason can not get over 60 on the roster. And this year they have all ready had over 9 kids get hurt.

They need to share athletes. They are worried all the time if a baseball kid or basketball kid plays Summer Ball. Same thing with the other sports. If a athlete plays football they are penalized. No reason Henderson can't share athletes if a little school in Owensboro can then Big O' Henderson should too. Why didn't the QB from last year not play?

 

It may not be coaches in the building fault. It might be a parent thing or administrators playing favorites in a particular sport. It happens.

The kid that played qb last year got hurt in the McCracken game and chose not to come out this year. He wanted to play baseball. And the new coach wants to have enough players where everybody plays one way.

Was really hoping Henderson would find a way to get the win in this one.

 

Hopefully they can overcome this and find a way to get the win next week.

Hope they can but they simple don't have a explosive offense so going to have to rely on defense and special teams.

Reitz had four big plays. This game much closer than final. Henderson had the ball on the 5 yard line up 6-0 before halftime. Fumble the ball reitz ran it back for td. Went to half 7-6 reitz. 19-13 with 10 mins to play!! Reitz will give P Tillman a good game next week. Henderson will have hands full with evansville north on the road.
