It was a very good game. The defenses for both teams played well. Camels started running the ball with relative ease after Keller (linebacker) and Jackson (right corner back) came out of the game with injuries. Not to take anything away from the Camels. They saw the weakness and exploited it. Cooper's pass defense was good throughout the game. The Cooper offense didn't perform tonight. We couldn't get the running game going. Kudos to the Camel D line. Our passing game wasn't much better. Still, Cooper in my opinion is a good 5A team. No shame in tonight's game for Cooper. They played hard till the very end and until the Camels pushed across a TD toward the end of the 4th quarter this game was very much either team's to win.

Actually, Keller was in game through third quarter when Camels scored with 3:38??? To go in third quarter. He moved from Mike to SS. #58 the center played Mike! Don't know the motivation of that defensive adjustment. Keller was very tough off of blocks and had made many plays! Very good player.

Campbell Co at Newport Central Catholic. Many former teammates and friends from Peewee. Some are even next door neighbors!

,Just got home from work and watched JV game. Great job Camels. For Hudl watchers I liked plays: 57,59,69,71,80,82,84,92,96,99,100,101,102,124,125,130(what happened on the pick six to bring it back?), and 132!!

I loved that mass of excited PURPLE at the 3 yard line! Way to play 4 quarters of football! Great Team WIN!

With reports that city police were taking the threat seriously I don't mind the overreaction.

Honestly the purge report was treated like a bomb threat. If this was a bomb threat, game cancelled, due diligence. Happens all the time but it must be taken seriously. All these decisions are made with the what IF. Blow it of and play was not the right thing to do.
