Let's say you are given a "free pass" to punch one person WITHOUT repercussion, who would it be and why?
For me it would be the guy who thought Flat Brim ball caps were cool, God that is an AWFUL look.
I think the first time I remember those was in the Little League World Series during the Danny Almonte fiasco with the Bronx team.

I'm sorry, I'm caught and lost somewhere in the middle of Oklahoma.
And to think I always thought Oklahoma was mostly flat and featureless. It appears there are several mountains and valleys in the states topography! I wonder if Lawnboy has this on his atlas map, and if that map is on his list of bathroom reading material.

"A loose groin is a happy groin." Love that quote during games.

Frosh football wise, Hunter has indeed looked very good in both practice and at Midnight Madness. Congratulations Hunter.

Well before VCR tapes I had this and many other "story and songs" albums with illustrated books. Fond memories. Doubt if those are still at my Mom's house, probably sold at a garage sale for a quarter.

Can you call my wife and tell her that, please? Had to go to the dryer to look for change this morning.
Don't forget under the couch cushions and the center console of your car!

Right there with you....
Ditto, I just measured it and it is 2" thick right now. Fossil trifold.

I have a similar portable safe with cable from Master Lock, it works very well. They are quick and easy to get into. You can also change combos very quickly.

On the landscape angle I don't like others pruning my shrubs or trees. Those mistakes in pruning take seasons to fix if fixable at all.

Dawson Hogan and Carson Plessinger from Campbell County. Kory Embs from Bishop Brossart, Zach Mann and Andrew Trame from Scott, Josh Schneider from Newport Central Catholic. Trying to think of more.
I am sorry for misspelling Andrew's last name autocorrect on kindle gets me every time.

Last night I grilled marinated skirt steak, onions, peppers, mushrooms, and zucchini on the Weber. Crusty bread with olive oil and seasonings.
Tonight, my famous hamburgers with chips.

In the Junior game the East Squad won 4-3.

Gyros, homemade meat, homemade tzatziki sauce nailed both the flavors and texture. No more trips to GFS for me. My grandson ate so much of the meat I started to think I wasn't going to get any!

Harrison Co pulled this play off against Highlands and succeeded in the 1997 State Tournament. I think that was the year. Current Highlands Coach Jeremy Baioni led off one of the Innings with a double to only have a Soph pinch runner come in to run for him and then get picked off. The Birds lost the game and ended a very special run by one of arguably Highlands best teams.
So the moral of the story is do not pinch run untested sophs for seniors,no matter what???? Hmmm I know another game where that also did not workout recently! Speed kills but only if the cheetah has a brain and some time on the Savannah to know how to react!

Last night I smoked a whole salmon filet for my son's pregame meal before regionals. Three pound filet, didn't have plank that big so I placed a piece of foil on my fish rack. I folded up the corners and poked holes throughout with a skewer. Soaked oak chips, drained them and spread over foil tray. The filet on top of chips with kosher salt and ground pepper. Direct grill over full chimney starter of coals in center of the Weber kettle. It is a very forgiving method if you are also making sides inside.
The night before I made two pork tenderloin marinated in olive oil, fresh thymne ,rosemary and parsley. Kosher salt ,pepper and same direct grilling method. Always have one loin that is larger allows me to let smaller one rest before I slice it. Also, love my Weber baked potato nails great purchase.

Final from CCHS.
Johnny Eblin for the Camels, Moeves for the Breds. Eblin pitches a complete game for the victory.
NCC went up 1-0, then Camels knotted it up at 1-1. Close game broken open by senior Kevin Skinner with a two RBI single.
Eblin had great location all night and had very good velocity tonight. Great momentum from the Camels with one regular season game left before Disrict play starts Tuesdat at 4 pm against winner of 4-5 game.
A lot of these boys have been friends all their lives! It was good to see them compete and you could see how close they were at the post game handshake! (KHSAA). Good luck to both squads get hot and make some noise!

Saturday night smoked baby backs on the Weber kettle over applewood with homemade rub and sauce.

I have seen enumerable back window family decals on cars, trucks, SUVs, etc. The family is usually shone in a progressive order of Dad, Mom, kid1, kid2......,dog, cat, etc.
Tonight, I pull up behind a gentleman in a Jeep at a light. While waiting I glance at what is in front of me and notice his decals.
I don't have the emoticon for each decal I saw, but the order went like this.
Dad decal.......Position Open with down arrow!!....Daughter decal
Five seconds on a congested drive home which got me to smile! First time I had seen that decal and it broke some tension with a laugh. Just thought I'd share.
