  1. I agree with RCC9 and like the example he used. Sometimes it is a position that needs to be filled. So an amazing guard may not get serious looks if a college is in need of forwards or vise versa. Hole in line up may be due to graduation, transfers, drop out, or life changes and that is what the coach is looking for in the short term.

Also agree that playing team sports is never a bad thing and the life lessons learned can be invaluable.

  2. Sophie Hagen - Junior

Kennedy Baugh - I believe she is playing - Senior

    Allison Gribben - Senior

    Abby Tierney - Junior

    Danielle Rennekamp - Sophomore

I would expect most of the scoring to come from these 5 players. May even be your starters. They should also have a couple of good freshman this year just not sure how much varsity time they will see.

  3. I saw Highlands play several times last year and I know those seniors (Adler, Coffey, Leigh, & Schultz) will be missed. I think it will be interesting to see who steps up and leads this team rather it will be this years seniors or underclassmen. During June ball 2016, I also saw them play and thought they played well as a team. Not saying they don't have outstanding players but their play (subbing and transition) appeared to be smooth no matter the 5 on the floor.

  4. Conner can't play tonight so this was a great gesture by Ludlow. But why does NDA reschedule the Conner home game for tomorrow and have another home game Saturday that could have been senior night. But again what a great gesture by Ludlow probably not knowing this

Due to additional forecasted snow for Wednesday, the Conner game was not a guarantee. Playing tonight allowed all the seniors to play together on home court. Shout out to Ludlow as well as NDA staff for making this happen.
