Despite the loss the Kallmeyer to Clephane Alley-Oop was definitely the coolest play of the game!!!

My imagination or did Franxman come back for a game recently? Or has she been out since December

Franxman only missed this game due to illness. She has been here all season.

Looking forward to the event tomorrow. Night. If you have nothing going on, come on out and support a great cause.

Game went back and forth and though Scott only had the lead early in the 1st they were able to battle back and pull it close everytime SH was able to stretch it out until the 4th.

Difference makers in this game boiled down to Scott missing layups in the lane and SH was lights out from behind the ark.

SH is a heck of a team either because of or in spite of thier youth depending on your POV. #34 is the real deal from the way she moves with the ball, distributes to team mates unselfishly, to her ability to freeze her upper body and shoot from a solid foundation even when moving or jumping. I'm sure she missed a few against the Eagles, but not many!!!

As a side note Eagles played without Dant and Franxman who will both be returning within the next week or so. They will need them and a healthy Davis to bolster thier lack luster rebounding as of late.

Congrats to MoCo on the W. Would love to hear the details on this one.

No offense to Montgomery County, but I did not see this one turning out this way.

No worries, she called it a battle wound.

Just thankful she doesn't have prom this week like what happend 2 years ago when she broke her nose diving for a ball and collided with a Montgomery County player.

No. I haven't seen the whole game film to see where it happened yet, but pretty sure it was incidental. Just the kind of thing that happens when 5'7" battles 6'3" and both players are woring thier butts off to gain a positional advantage.

Many great behind the scenes story lines to make this game even more interesting to watch. For starters It will pit NKY Lady Legends teammates Lexi Miles for NDA against Tori Dant and Holly Kallmeyer for Scott.

Very physical game saw Kallmeyer after the game with a black eye.

Yeah it was pretty colorful the next morning. Her and Hardiman were battling underneath for a lot of the game. Very fun match up to watch as neither wanted to give any ground.

They lost by one without one of their best players. If Scott was missing Stapleton or Clephane, they would likely not have came out ahead either.

Actually have gotten to review the game twice now and honestly though IMHO I would have like to see them be allowed to be a little more physical especially at the top of the key. The game was called very consistent at both ends and both teams were able to adjust accordingly. Good job Stripes!!!

Big win for the Eagles. While thier best basketball is still to come they are definitely progressing in the right direction.

Take nothing away from the Camels, thier depth allows them to not skip a beat with Kramer out.

More important than a lot of this, why didn't Kramer play in this game? Great kid and a difference maker.

I saw her tweak an ankle against Dixie but haven't seen or heard anything since. So not sure how bad it is.

What khsaa should do is move the the All A Classic to the sametime as the districts and make the schools choose what they are going to play in. Either All A or the big one....

Now that's an interesting idea. Though I admit I really like the class system in football.

Either way it is a lot of 3's just for the sake of shooting them. And at 30% probably not a great strategy against a team that pushes the lane and is taking a lot of high percentage shots.

Nice return for both Kallmeyer and Dant to the line ups. Though still a little rusty and a neither 100% good to see them back.
