  1. Someone needs to pull some strings and make sure these two meet in the finals and not the semi finals. Could be a very different game and out come on a bigger court, with both teams healthy, and not have fans right on top of you. Unfortunately, in my lifetime it seems like Cov Cath often loses the rematch when it matters most, although it was usually always to Holmes.

    I guess you've forgotten about 2014.

  2. Can it still be an intentional foul if the defender goes for the ball?

Player A went up for a layup. Player B comes from behind and is clearly going for the ball and hits Player A with a lot of body as well. Intentional foul?

Yes...Actually saw this happen this year in my team's 2nd game of the season.

Player A (on the home team, FWIW) was on a breakaway layup. Player B (my teammate) goes up and actually sends the ball to the second row. Lots of body contact. Should have been called a foul. Our coach went ballistic when they called an intentional. I was told the foul was for "excessive contact" (which I've never heard of) despite Player B's successful attempt at the ball.

  3. Congrats to TMC. From following along in the stats seems like it was a back and forth game.

Kicker Will Gingery from Bexley, OH (Columbus) with the game winning 37 yarder.

He's in the top 3 in the country in both punting and field goal kicking. Nailed two 50 yarders this season. Great guy too.

Looking forward to taking on UW Whitewater (publicly funded 10,000 undergrad enrollment D3 school) next Saturday!

  4. Grayson Allen at MSG last year vs Kentucky had only 6 points. This year he had 5 points until about 10 min left in the second half, then he started to come alive. Must not be his favorite place to play.

As everybody has said, Duke will be fine.

  5. My college had a "candlelit gathering of peace and unity" last night to "regroup as a student body and move forward as a community" because of the "tensions and emotions from the election." I've seen dozens of facebook posts, Instagram pictures, and snapchat stories of my peers expressing their fears for the future and how they are for the first time not proud to be an American.

    It's disturbing.
