The " Fact" that CCH's coach ran his team at halftime leaves with me the 'Opinion" that he was less than satisfied with his team's effort, which would seem to validate what I said.

While Cooper and a number of other schools in NKY can only aspire to your mediocrity, pretentious snobbery is a luxury afforded to teams that dominate on the field, not through a collection of tunnel blind, internet mouthpieces.

As unpleasant as the truth may be sometimes, it doesn't change the facts. The problem with you guys is you seem to think a jersey that says COV CATH on the front of it automatically makes you a better player or team, it doesn't, I'm sorry.

I think I have conceded a talent discrepancy between the two schools from the get go gentlemen. I even recall saying you won the game fair and square and congratulated you for doing so when not playing your best. You have consistently responded with excuses, insults to Cooper's players, and snide comments toward their fans.....Why don't we just move on and let this go.

I don't think that's an excuse, but consider this, Cooper started 4 freshmen, 3 sophomores, 2 juniors, and one senior against you.

CCH combined record against " Quality Opponents " to this point: McNicholas, Trinity, Elder, Lexington Catholic, Seven Hills, Highlands, NCC, Boone County Record: 2-5 PA 21 PF 6 CCH combined record against "Patsies " : Simon Kenton, Campbell County, Conner, Cooper Record: 3-0-1 PA 6 PF 21 Unless there is some conspiracy by the referees, the FACTS would suggest CCH is a middle of the road team, in what is a down year in NKY soccer.

Luke Treadway is the most obvious choice. If healthy, his ability to put the ball in the net is unmatched, not even close. Evan O'Hara performs week in and week out, best player on one of the better teams in the area. Kris Garbig is also an exceptional player at Highlands. Zane Ross has posted big numbers despite Cooper's woeful performance as a team. I am basing my opinion on watching these four play with and or against each other for several years on the club scene. I know there are more, but these are the four that I am most familiar with.

I would agree that Cooper was fortunate that the score was not worse. If CCH plays the entire game like the first ten minutes, it could have been ugly. That was my point when I said they quit playing. They allowed Cooper to hang around. The longer they hung around the harder Cooper played. The better team won, no doubt, but the more talented team wasn't necessarily the team playing the hardest in the second half. CCH obviously didn't bring their best stuff to this game, but they won the game fair and square and I will take my hat off to them for that.

I guess we are both entitled to our own opinion and I will leave it at that.

# 10 is Zane Ross, he was second team all region as a sophomore last season and currently has 21 goals and 12 assists this season. On what was probably his easiest scoring attempt of the season and what would have tied the game, he just missed. # 4 is Chris O'Brien. it's a shame these guys don't more attention for no other reason than Cooper's talent pool is very shallow. After scoring two quick goals CCH just quit playing. Other than O'Brien and Ross, CCH is a much more talented team, but they were flat out outplayed in the second half and were lucky to get a win.

The regular season is a little more than half over and while anything could happen in the post season, it's pretty clear who the powers are. Who are some of better individual performers to this point?

Really,Old Time, has CCH ever won a close game that "wasn't really that close" or "the bench was emptied". I don't have a rooting interest in CCH OR NCC, you're just a little too predictable.
