  1. I have recurring dreams of being in a strange city by myself and either being lost or can’t remember where I parked my car. It’s not a dream that bothers me but for some reason I’ll have a dream of that type about once per month.

I've had that happen. Went to Charleston, WV once to see a Starship concert. Finally found a parking spot about a mile away. After the show, got totally lost and forgot where I parked. Finally, found it after about an hour of looking but it was pretty frightening walking around those strange streets in a very lonesome and scary looking part of town.

  2. Yes it was. They played their hearts out. On the other hand we did not play well at all. I know we can play much better and will have to against Campbell Co.

It was a pleasure to meet dd734 and sportsaholic Mamaw tonight. Both such great people to talk to and finally meet. Wish I had more time to talk to you.

I want to meet you and Mamaw. My two favorite Golden Girls bar none!!!

  3. Holy Cow ... Here we go again !!!!

The most heated rivalry in the state. To say these two teams and fan bases don't like each other is a gross understatement. This matchup has all the intrigue... race, lies, and , of course, videotape. There is a also family/school loyalty angle. The rivalry pits a grandpa(Corbin fan) versus grandson(KC player). There have been taunts, insults, and cheap shots(both verbal and physical) . Corbin's superstar has taunted and threatened online and "cheap -shotted "in both games played this year. A Knox player hurled racial insults at the Corbin faithful. And, of course, there is the now- infamous snapchat video controversy.

Knox Central parents have displayed their Thug Life KC T-Shirts on social media and will no doubt be wearing them just as proudly on Saturday. Hounds' fans will color the sold out Arena red, red, and more red.

Knox won the first game played this year 73-61 while the Hounds thrashed the Panthers in the second meeting 81-67 .

Corbin upset the Panthers in the semifinals of the region last year 55-52. And as they always do, the Panther fans cried foul. Then they just cried...

The Arena is expected to be sold out for Saturday's games. There won't be a better atmosphere in the state or a better venue to watch basketball than the 5,000 seat Arena in Corbin.

I hear security is gonna be on high alert. All bags will be checks for weapons and any other unsportsmanlike objects ...

It's Civil War in SEKY !!! Let's get it on .... Who wins and why????

  4. Dakich as an announcer is outstanding IMO.

The character he plays on Twitter is just a despicable human being.

Curious as to what he's really like. I have to believe he's closer to the jack wagon we get on Twitter.

Agree. That's the sense I get.

  5. Haven't had any in a long time, but when I was a kid, I would have the same nightmare at least once a week.

I'd be walking out of Kroger with my Mom and as we were walking past a manhole, a fish-looking monster would pop out and rip my leg off. I'd always wake up right after it severed my limb. :lol2: :idunno:

Good God 'O Mighty !!! Did you avoid Kroger when you were a kid and having that dream?

  6. I have a few.

One is that after many years of working, I find out that I failed to take a class I was supposed to take way back in nursing school, and I had my license revoked.

Second one is that I am falling, never sure where I am falling from but it is a long fall and I know I am going to die. Think I may have died that way in a previous life?

Lastly, and more prevalent is that my teeth suddenly start to fall out until they are all gone. I wake up and feel my mouth to make sure my teeth are still there.

If I have any good recurring dreams, I sure don’t remember them.

My most recurring dream is similar to your first one. I have also had your third dream recur before. Your second dream is one that I used to have quite often when I was younger.

  7. Have you had the same dream over and over for years? I believe that a lot of what we dream is just a mish mash of things that happen to us during our waking hours and don't really have any deep significance. However, I do feel as though recurring dreams do have a deeper meaning. I think most recurring dreams probably have something to do with a deep-seated fear or insecurity that we have.

I have one recurring dream that I've have for many years. I'll talk about it later on in the thread. I'd like to hear what kind of recurring dreams you have and see if you have any thoughts on what you think they might mean.

I've always been fascinated by dreams and REM sleep analysis. I think dream research would be such an interesting field of study.

    So, what are your dreams???

  8. This is tough....

Guy I would love, that most wouldn't want is Bruce Pearl. He's built for a job like Kentucky IMO.

Off the top of my head list....

    Gregg Marshall

    Chris Holtmann

Chris Mack (no chance, if he ends up at UL next season)

    Mike White

    Mark Few (highly unlikely)

    Danny Hurley

    Bobby Hurley

From that list I like Mark Few.
