While I believe the top 4 are right, especially #1, the rest has a big east Kentucky bias. Somerset should be taken out for OCAth and put them up where Murray is at #5, then #6 should be Union County. thus dropping Bardstown out of the top 10.

The 1 and 2 play in the same bracket. The 3 and 4 have to go to the 1 and 2 in the other bracket, so if CAL and Desales win their first round game, which they both should, Desales will play at CAL in the 2nd round. Same thing happened last year and Desales won.

That is wrong, sir. The 1 and 3 seed from each district play on the same side of the brackets and the 2 and 4 play on the other side. CAL and DeSales can not meet before the regional championship.

There will be a new #1 in a lot of those polls this week. Caldwell should move up and CAL should be #2.

I hope Mayfield wins, cause the hype for the game next week against my Tigers will be through the roof!

The Tigers take the thrown

Murray came into this game wanting to run the ball and control the game clock, and Caldwell County let them do just that! The yardage, according to PtownDude, ended up favoring Caldwell County 439 yards to Murray's 410 yards, but that doesn't tell the story of the game. Caldwell County made the big stops when they needed to and Murray could not do anything inside the Caldwell County 20 yard line all night. Elijah Sindelar ended the night 10 of 12 for 324 yards and 4 TD passes. For some odd reason, Murray loaded up the box to stop the run against the best, well one of the best QBs in the state! Sindelar threw over the top of Murray's D all night long. It wasn't even funny, to tell the truth. Eli Pepper had another monster game at WR, with 2 TDs, and Dee Cain added a rushing and a receiving TD to his season total. There were some REALLY HARD HITS on both sides tonight. Great football game!

Caldwell is putting 11 in the box on D, and throwing over the top and beating Murray deep. Murray is selling out to stop the run against the best QB in the state, and he has burned them consistently.

2 top 5 matchups this week. That should straighten out the playoff picture, and that is it, cause everybody is 0-0 come playoff time.

The same could be said for the west side of the 2A bracket. A lot have said the east side is playing for 2nd this year.

Can DeSales throw the ball if they get behind or are they like Murray, and keep on running?

I have watched some film on Murray and talked to some of their boosters and supporters, and to tell the truth, Murray will jump out to lead and then falter. They can not throw the ball effectively on a regular basis. They run the ball, but can not stop Caldwell's offense. My prection is Caldwell County 45 Murray High 26

Is EJ Sindelar going to play basketball this season and if so how will he affect Caldwell County's status? How much better are they with him? Can they win the region with him?

From everything that I have heard, Sindelar is playing basketball this year. That will give them a very athletic, tall talent that can score in bunches, and that should not bode well for the competition.

Congrats to the Kuntz kid for the achievement! I understand how you feel watching him, uk#1fan. I am getting to watch Mr. Sindelar rampage through the whole Caldwell County record book, and he is only a junior. I hope to see SK at BG in December! Should be a fun ride!

I would have Caldwell #1, but I am from Princeton. The fans I have talked to are so excited that the Murray and Mayfield games are almost here.

No sir. I could not see Coach Barnes do that kind of stunt. He has done his best not to embarrass any teams, and that would be awful sportsmanship
