We will never have "widespread testing" because people in charge don't want those numbers being public. So we can go ahead and forget about that being an option.
I work for an essential business and we made changes over a month ago and have continued making changes the whole time. We could continue doing business the way we are for an indefinite amount of time.
Nobody's business is more important than public health. I'm sorry there are businesses struggling and ones that won't survive, but given the choice between that and my friends and family staying alive and healthy, those businesses gotta go. Nobody forced them to go into business or choose the business type they decided on. I couldn't care less about struggling businesses when compared to the health and safety of our communities.
Well said!

The tests haven't even reached some rural parts of western Kentucky. I figure when they do, there will be a spike in cases of the virus. I have told everyone around me to expect that when it happens. As far as the world changing, that will happen, no doubt.

Buffet lines - Will they exist in life after?

Come on out for that game at Caldwell County. I should be there.

In my opinion, if Travis Perry stays healthy, he could go after King Kelly's scoring record. He's a cold blooded shooter.

Mayfield vs. Louisville Central or Belfry
Caldwell County vs. Owensboro Catholic
-
I take it someone in Laurel County had an AP vote.
-
I keep forgetting that Zion Harmon is a junior.
-
Madisonville has 2 D1 players. Marshall County has Zion Harmon. McCracken County has Jackson Sivells who has signed with Murray State. The most potentially talented player I've seen this year is an eighth grader, Travis Perry from Lyon County. There's plenty of talent if you look all around the state, I would guess. I've just seen what is available in the western end of the state. Lots of underclassmen talent.
-
This is much closer than when they played earlier this year.
-
Good catch. And a three ppg diffeence too. 1000 points and in the 8th grade is amazing.
2nd Region Leaders :
1. 25.6 Travis Perry, Lyon County
2. 22.6 Kale Gaither, Union County
Travis Perry can flat out score. That's for sure. If he stays healthy and keeps improving, Ty Rogers' s scoring record at Lyon County is very much in danger. I'd go so far as to say, that he may be looking at an even bigger spot on the all-time scoring list in the state.
-
Looking at that link, Perry is actually ahead of Gaither in the 2nd region scoring.
-
Lyon County's Travis Perry can't be far behind Gaither in the 2nd region. Perry is an 8th grader and has already eclipsed the 1,000 point barrier.

I saw Stinson and Allen both play this year and Stinson isn't that far behind in ability. Both are elite. I voted for Stinson because I'm glad my Tigers won't have to face him anymore. I think he's been starting QB at Mayfield for the last decade.

This is as wide open as I can remember it being. There are several teams that could put together a 7 game hot streak and take the state title. Any of the AP top ten listed here have the goods, and I don't doubt there are others too. Being #1 now just means there's a bigger target on your back every time you walk into a gym.
-
I believe that they are at least close to having the top 10 teams in the pill. They may not be in the right order, but it's closer than I've seen in a while.

Good read!

There’s a thread on Controversial Forum that discusses it
Oh sorry.

What happened here? I read the ESPN story. It was vague.

I keep lobbying for Butler in the bluegrasspreps.com Top 20.... LOL
(in the interests of transparency, I've never seen the Bears, but the evidence they are developing in terms of scores against quality teams is getting rather convincing)
I think you're right. Just seeing video of Butler, they look as good as anybody outside the top 6 at the very least.
-
I really thought this was Murray's year, but Frankfort is on a run. Good luck to both teams tomorrow.
-
UHA is very young this year. I expect Murray to win that game.
I still think it will be a very close game and the winner could go for the title. Both of these teams are being paid a lot of attention, but have experience being here before.
-
Lyon is hard to figure out.
That could be because they are led by an eighth graders in Travis Perry. While in his 2nd year of varsity play and scoring over 1,000 points already, he can be a bit inconsistent. Travis will be a beast all of the time real soon.

I can't see 4 wins there.
