Beechwood would have run the tables in Div. III the last two years they have been in Div II and no doubt one of the toughest districts in the states. Look at their schedule. Your "Man Crush" on Noel Rash is a little over the top.
Walton people have always, always been "over the top" in sitting in the stand and "coaching the coach" (pre-internet). Now they are on their way to having a very successful football program and it will only get worse!
Highlands is in the middle of a very successful Football run and no one wants to point out that their AD is also the football coach, but what do I know!
Now with the internet, we have parents and fans, some of whom have never even met the coach and know nothing of what goes on during school/practice saying how terrible of a coach these men are, not just in the stands but to everyone who can read.
Those programs that are the most successful seem to have parents and fans who who are more positive than negative!
The Holmes fans are great! They also where great when they had a not so good coach.
Maybe it is time to show the kids you support them and their coach and stop bashing .
I hope Rick Schumate applies for this job because he seems to know how to ignore the parental pressures. Then again Walton doesn't play NKAC DIV. III.
One of the best moves I saw this year and I saw "Beetle" numerous times!
SENIOR NIGHT:
A known poster (BGP) and basher of a coach goes to shake the hand of the coach and the coach walks away!

Look for Beechwood"s former Head Coach Rick Schumate to apply. What about it VOR!
-
This should be the highest paying job in the state, to put up with all of the mouths!!
No doubt it's tough! Was been like that for years, all the way back to when their withdrawal from the NKAC. Let's say 30+ years. This should have been stopped by the "powers that be" a long time ago.
The most hated man in Walton, the boys varsity basketball coach, of course that goes for Fort Mitchell and Fort Thomas too. Maybe those schools need to enforce the no parent spectator rule.

Best of luck to Coach Flynn. He was always a class act in a very challenging environment. He didn't just compete for kid committment with football. Bball program has also lost a couple kids to HHS soccer only from the class of 2014 -- could have been 3's or 4's, both over 6'3". Lost one after his freshman year and the other after his 10th grade season. Great bball potential in both of those kids, imo
Hunt is very well liked by players. He was very active in the program this last year, and always seemed to be enjoying the endeavor...critical in any turnaround.
He didn't lose them! They made other choices! The last thing a coach wants is a kid who would rather be somewhere else. Those kids need to be doing what is best for them, those are the kids that become problems for the program., not to mention their parents or the parents of their friends who like to get on public forums and bash coaches.

Didn't Mike Herald coach the 6th grade at HMS? I was thinking he would be the 1st in line for the varsity gig.

If you "recruit" from within the student body, what do you owe them! Kids who want to play will play! Coach those who have the guts to practice and show up. Let the others play rec league somewhere and tell everyone how good they
are.

Even though, I do not know Coach Neiderman personally, I have seen Boone play. He seems like a high motor kind of guy and very intense/passionate about the job his defense does every Friday. In the game I saw this year, his players seemed well prepared and extremely well coached.
I don't care if he had connections to Coach Thompson, Coach Neiderman got the shaft in this deal and I personally would not blame him if he left BC altogether!
Hope applies at LLoyd!

No just a fan!

Lot of places Ian Brolley could play and be a star as a soph. don't underestimate his ability ti contribute at Holmes next year.

Have to agree replays of every basket was annoying. Someone saying Bolden doesn't shoot well hasn't seen him play much. Now saying Bolden isn't shooting well that was true today. Glad to see the 9th get a win. Can't say I was real confident of that when the draw was first announced.

Too bad..Sandlin is by far the most pompous, arrogant and egotistical ref I have ever watched call a game. He struts around like he is the show. I feel sorry for the teams that get this clown to ref their games. If Sandlin is the best that the 8th Region has to offer then maybe they should just pass that region over when looking for officials for the state tourney.
Totally disagree with this, Sandlin has always been an outstanding and fair official. Give us an example of the cause for your distain.

Beechwood has never been in DIV II before the last 2 years. I was answering VOR when pointing out records. Sometimes it pays to read the previous posts. Nothing comical, your post is childish.
