The timeout does not refocus the Admiral defense as Foster runs right and gets to the end zone. Baker's kick is good. Lincoln ties it up. It is 14-14 with more than 5:00 to go in the second quarter.

Foster takes it wide on a run and rushes for three yards on first down. Foster takes it up the middle for another six yards. That brings up 3rd and 1. Foster holds onto it again and takes it to the Admiral 11. Admirals take a timeout. Danville still ahead 14-7 with 5:37 to go in the second quarter but Lincoln is in the red zone

Hill gets a successful run to the Admiral 35, so the chains move again. Admirals struggling to contain any of Lincoln's rushing attack.

Lincoln takes the Admirals kickoff to their own 38. Hill advances the ball six yards and the Ads are flagged after the play and the chains reset at the 50 yard line.

Lincoln comes close to getting an onside kick but Danville just manages to recover on their own 38. Cruver rolls to his left and completes a pass to the middle of the field to Sellers, who runs it about 48 yards for a touchdown. Chalk that up to another quick strike touchdown by the Ads this year. Patriots are flagged for an offsides on the extra point but the Ads still opt for one point. Garcia converts the kick. Danville regains the lead 14-7 with 8:29 to play in the second quarter

Foster runs to the right and gets to the two yard line. On 2nd and goal, Hill gets nowhere and is brought down for a loss of one. That brings up a third attempt and Foster runs to his left and scores. Brody Baker (senior) puts the extra point kick through. Danville and Lincoln are now tied at 7-7

Hill fights forward for 4 yards on first down. Foster continues the 1-2 punch going by getting another first down, fighting down to the Admiral 8.

Lincoln gets flagged for holding when Hill goes right and runs to the outside. That backs the ball up to the Lincoln 24. Foster keeps the ball and runs all the way into Admiral territory to the 35, going out of bounds but then the Ads tackle him out of bounds so that will tack on another 15 yards, putting Lincoln in the red zone. Lincoln calls timeout.

To start the quarter and with a 3rd and 1, Foster takes the ball again and gets just enough to move the chains.

Hill gains three yards on first down after going left and outside. Foster gets a direct snap and takes it for 6 yards. That ends the quarter. End of the First Quarter: Danville 7, Lincoln 0.

Starting at their own 1, Foster runs to the outside and gets 4 yards. Hill gets the handoff on second down and tries to run up the middle but only gets 2 yards. On 3rd down and deep in their own territory Lincoln, Foster keeps the ball and manages to get the first down with his legs. Ball advances to the Admiral 18.

Cruver rolls out and gets to the one yard line but fumbles the ball and Lincoln recovers. Danville leads 7-0 with about 3:00 to go in the first quarter

Cruver completes a 9 yard pass to Gavin Baker (senior) to advance the ball into Lincoln territory. Sellers takes the pitch on a run to the outside on a cool motion where he goes behind the quarterback. He advances the ball to the Lincoln 20 but the Admirals are flagged for a hold, causing a 2nd & 6 on the Lincoln 46. Screen pass to Baker goes for about 5 yards. On 3rd down, Meaux gets the ball and he fights to the 13 yard line for a first down after cutting to the outside.

Foster is rushed on 3rd down and the Ads sack him (credit to Saivon Johnson - sophomore) for a loss of 10 yards. Lincoln is flagged for illegal motion but the Ads decline to take it. Lincoln's enusing punt has a bad snap and is blocked and goes out of bounds around the Admiral 49. Danville leads 7-0 with 4:09 to play in the first quarter

Ads swallow up Hill on first down again, he only gets a yard. Foster cannot handle the snap on second down but picks it up and runs for a yard. On 3rd and long, Lincoln calls timeout.

Hill is knocked back for three yards on first down. Lincoln goes for a pass on second down and Foster throws downfield. The receiver falls down but that is due to contact and the Ads are flagged for pass interference. Ball moves up to the Admiral 38.

Lincoln receives the kick and starts their drive on their own 31. Malik Hill (freshman) for Lincoln runs for 8 yards on their first play of the game. QB Tucker Foster (senior) runs to the 50, giving Lincoln a first down.

Pitch to Meaux gets to the 2 yard line after getting some good blocks. Meaux is given the ball once again and he runs it up the middle and puts it in for his 11th touchdown of the season. Kicker Juan Garcia (junior) knocks the ball through the uprights for the extra point. Danville draws first blood and leads 7-0 with 9:36 to go in the first quarter.

Meaux runs up the middle and then gets to the outside, moving to the Lincoln 8 yard line before going out of bounds. Danville will be 1st and goal from there.

Cruver starts the next series with a screen pass to Trinden Sellers (senior) for 3 yards. Meaux busts another run to the Lincoln 28, picking up another first down for the Admirals.

Jayvian Meaux (sophomore) early run up the middle only goes about a yard. But then Dillon Cruver (sophomore) completes to Cam Peters (junior) for 8 yards. On third down, Meaux breaks a run to the outside for a first down, moving the ball to the Lincoln 40.

Lincoln tries to onside to start but the Ads get it and will start on their own 48.

By the way, thank you to Lincoln for putting a video feed in with this road game (for them). I wish the Ads would get into the video streaming era because the NFHS feed is terrible.
