Lincoln's reception does not get much again, only moving the ball to their own 25. Foster has a Levi Grubbs (senior) deep downfield but overthrows him. On second down Foster tries to throw again but it is swatted away by the Admirals. On 3rd and 10, Foster completes to Parker Hart (senior) for a 17 yard gain and moves the ball to the Lincoln 42. Danville's defense cannot get third down stops.

Meaux takes the ball again and gets to the end zone and this time it counts. He was not touched. Garcia hits the extra point. Danville pushes the lead back to two touchdowns, leading 35-21 with 7:13 to play

From the I-formation, Meaux takes the ball up the middle but is short at the one yard line. 2nd and goal sees the Ads pushed back 15 yards for a penalty. No clarification of what the penalty is for or who it is in. But the penalty just gives Meaux more room to run as he takes it 16 yards to the house for the Admirals. However, there is another penalty on Danville, this time a hold. So now the ball is on the Admiral 21 for a 2nd and goal. Meaux gets another big run to the outside to the right, tackled at the four yard line on 2nd and goal. Referees have a conference, providing a break in the action. Danville is close to the end zone, leading 28-21 with 7:18 to play in the game

8:46 to play in the game. Meaux gets another big run up the middle. He is tackled at the five yard line, moving the chains yet again.

Lincoln gets flagged for an offsides, moving the ball into Lincoln territory at the 49. Meaux races for 27 yards, getting another first down.

Meaux runs again for 8 yards. On 2nd down the Ads go to the I-formation, Meaux takes a pitch but Lincoln wraps him up after he gains just 1 yard. On the 3rd and 1, Cruver takes a QB sneak for a first down but there is a flag for a hold. That is a bad turn of events for Danville, turning things into a 3rd and 11. Cruver throws a screen pass to Sellers, who makes another big play by breaking some tackles and turns nothing into something, getting a first down at the Ads 46.

Meaux starts the fourth quarter by running for 13 yards, getting to the Lincoln 27 and moving the chains.

Meaux takes a carry up the middle for four yards on the first Admiral play of the second half. Then Lincoln jumps offsides to create a 2nd and 1. That ends the quarter. End of the Third Quarter: Danville 28, Lincoln 21

The 4th down play sees Foster roll out and fire to the end zone but the pass falls incomplete. The Admirals radio crew thinks they got away with interference as there was a lot of contact before the ball got to the receiver. Danville gets the ball back from turnover on downs on their own 5 yard line, leading 28-21 with 45 seconds left in the third quarter

Foster keeps the ball but is brought down for a loss of one. Lincoln has 4th down and 4 from the five yard line. Lincoln takes another timeout.

Foster fights through tacklers for 6 yards. Hill gets the ball and advances it a yard. That means it is 3rd and 3 from the 4 yard line. Lincoln takes a timeout, having held the ball the entire quarter. Lincoln is on the Danville 4 yard line, trailing 21-28, with 1:35 to play in the third quarter.

The ball is at the Admirals 22. Hill wastes no time making a run to the 11, resetting the chains. There is 3:51 to go in the third quarter.

Ball is up to the Danville 32. On first down, Lincoln is flagged for holding, moving the ball back to the Danville 42. Foster rushes for five yards on first down. On the next down, Foster throws a slant pass but it is dropped. That results in a 3rd and 15, Foster rushes for about 8 yards. Lincoln elects to go for it on 4th and 7. Foster throws to the sidelines and gets a big first down to Trey Burkhart (senior).

Based on the Lincoln playcalling, Danville needs to move up the safeties and linebackers. Hill moves the ball another 8 yards on a run. And then he picks up the first down after running for 3 yards. Lincoln is driving, trailing 28-21 with 7:00 to play in the 3rd quarter

Foster keeps it, advancing the ball three yards. Hill follows with a run of 4 yards. On 3rd and 3, Hill runs to his right and gets a first down after running for 5 yards. Ball is moved to the Danville 44.

Lincoln's does not get much of a reception, starting their drive on their 28. Hill runs for 2 yards. Danville got lucky there as they only had 10 defenders on the field. On 2nd down, Foster keeps it but the Admirals are all over him for a loss of one. On 3rd and 9, Foster scrambles left after finding no one open and gets a first down at Lincoln's 43.

Cruver floats a pass into the end zone but it falls incomplete. That leaves 2.7 seconds. Garcia is brought out to kick a 21-yard field goal, his first attempt at a non-extra point this year. The kick does not make it to the uprights. Again, Lincoln gets the ball to start the second half. Halftime: Danville 28, Lincoln County 21

Cruver throws a short pass to Meaux, who goes out of bounds at the 10 yard line. 8 seconds remain in the first half. Lincoln takes a timeout.

Lincoln is flagged for delay of game before the kick. When they do kick it is a squib and the Admirals fall on it on their own 32. Cruver throws the ball deep downfield and it is complete into Jutayvion Beasley (senior) after coming out of Baker's hands. That moves the ball to the Lincoln 37 with 15 seconds left in the half. Admirals take a timeout (one left) to consider options.

Note: Lincoln gets the ball to start the second half. With 58 seconds left in the quarter, Hill rushes 18 yards into the end zone, getting better on the ground as the game moves along. Extra point is good. Danville's lead narrows to 28-21 with 28 seconds to play in the second quarter

Lincoln does not get much on their kickoff return, just back to their own 35. Hill busts a bit run to the Admirals 29 on Lincoln's first play. There is 1:08 to play in the quarter. Foster follows that up with a run to the Admiral 18.

Meaux rushes up the middle and scores a second touchdown of the game, pushing out the Admiral lead further. That run was for 25 yards. Garcia knocks in another extra point. Danville pushes the lead out to 28-14 with 1:25 to go in the second quarter

Cruver throws a deep pass as the Admirals line is giving him lots of time to throw. But it falls incomplete, not close to a receiver. On 2nd down Meaux gets the ball and he rushes for 8 yards. On 3rd and 2, the Ads go into the I-formation and Meaux is swarmed but keeps his feet moving to advance the chains.

Lincoln takes the kickoff to their own 36. Lincoln rushes for three yards to start the drive. Foster holds onto it on second down but he is tackled for no gain. 3rd and 7 sees Foster try a pass to the 50 but it falls incomplete. The punt is a line drive to Sellers, who gets it on a bounce. He races down the sidelines and is pushed out of bounds at the Lincoln 36. Danville has the ball, leading 21-14 with 2:49 to play in the half
