  1. I actually embrace it, but more on a personal level, as we have off and on for the last 10 years. My dd has endured all types, good and bad and for all those things said i believe its made her a better person, teammate and pitcher. The power of criticism (lord knows it won't stop in college....lol) from the right people can make avg athletes good, good athletes great and great athletes into stars. In my heart I think my DD can be a star, as I'm sure all parents do of their own kids. So in the end I say criticize away, I think most of what's said on these forums is too nice and to "pc" anyway....and your right some parents can't handle it. Alittle more honesty about a kids ability may help some and hurt others, but thats life in the real world.
  2. :notworthy: Tell me more about me, since you clearly know so much.......
  3. Called out on yappi......nice try? Feelings hurt? Not at all. I'll be waiting for the ofc post, there's only 15 or so, should be easy to find. Maybe it was in this forum......Best in each class for ohio......nothing about best ever. Lol You think I was called out and I get my feelings hurt(??)and I think some of your posts were disrespectful......fair enough. I'll just agree to disagree By the way..I did hear about radford being interested. I do appreciate you mentioning my DD to the coach there! We were advised to hold out till summer ball was done, so we did and what happen was the last thing my wife and I ever expected, especially so late in the recruiting process!!!
  4. I can't stop laughing....... Show me a post, any post, that gives the impression about me thinking she is the best ever? I eat a steady helping of humble pie every day. She asked me when she was 9, after watching Cat for the first time, if I thought she could be good enough to pitch for UT. Yes, I said, but you gotta work hard. It WAS and IS a dream come true.......so in short, hell yes I'm proud, but to imply that I'm an arrogant a$$hole........whatever? I got no beef with you or anyone else that doesn't feel like I do, but don't get on these forums and throw kids under the bus with opinions that should be kept to oneself. The amount of scholarship money that my DD or anyone elses kid got is no ones business and to imply that you don't think kids "deserve" a certain $$ amount is ridiculous. Good luck to your daughter at JM, I hope she kicks but for four years as well!!
  5. Not sure why your so negative but with opinions like that I'm sure you've been wrong alot more than right. Lol don't recall reading anything bad about other kids on these forums getting to play at the collegiate level on a scholarship?
