Good day for me. My least favorite team in college hoops is UK. My second least favorite team is Duke...

Just about every game from Thursday until today did not go my way. Today was a beautiful thing to watch...:lol2:

Yeah, if Few is let go, there will be a line of great coaches ready to go there and take over that dominant program (note sarcasm)...that nobody had ever heard of before Few went there. He also is a classy dude that has never done anything to embarrass his program (like Knight, Cal, Pitino, Pearl, Samson, etc. have done). They should build a statue of him in front of their arena if they have not already.

Just got back from Vegas...played 5 rounds in 5 days. We went to Mesquite one day and played Wolf Creek...OMG...if you ever get the chance to play it, DO. The scenery is incredible. Check out the Wolf Creek website. The pics are awesome but do not do justice to how much elevation change is on this course. I've never seen anything like it. You really have to be careful driving a cart on the cart paths...some are so steep. In fact, they make you sign a waiver when driving the cart that they are not responsible for any injuries you may incur.

We also played another great course IMO...Reflection Bay, which is on Lake Las Vegas and is really beautiful and fun to play. Another really neat course was Royal Links. All 18 holes at this course are replicas of great British Open holes...I parred the Road Hole but bogeyed the Postage Stamp hole.

Hard cast cannot be a good thing...no matter how Cal spins this...

Feel very bad for the kid who missed 2 of 3 FT's at the end of the game...he will NEVER forget that as long as he lives. The last one was a nice stroke...just bad luck that it rimmed out.

How good Andy Dalton is or is not has NOTHING to do with my opinion of AJ. I don't think it has anything to do with other GM's who are cutting AJ either. I don't think he could get a starting job with ANY team in the NFL right now and he may have a hard time getting a back-up job. Again, that has nothing to do with Andy Dalton...

Daughter and son-in-law are visiting from Louisville this weekend. While eating Irish breakfasts at Lil’ Jumbo coffee shop in Washington a little while ago, they surprised us with an announcement that they’re taking us to Ireland and Scotland for eight days in October. One of the items on the itinerary is golf at the Castle Course at St. Andrews.

That is awesome!!!!!!! Play the Old Course! I also have talked to many people who have played Kings Barns which is in St. Andrews. Every person who I have talked to said it is the most beautiful course over there. They played the women's British Open there a couple of years ago...

Curious how the rest of this ends up, but every year on selection Sunday I’m more and more amazed at just how ridiculous this whole thing is. I’d rather argue over 4 teams all day everyday over this 64 team crap.

Yeah, I don't think this 64 team March Madness event is ever going to catch on...

I've just never understood why people like AJ that much...he is no better than a backup NFL QB and if you ranked backup QB's, he is in the bottom half IMO.

I actually think better about UNC now than I did before the game. I think UNC may be the better team even when Duke has Zion. If you would have told me before the game that UNC would shoot 4-27 from the 3 point line (not a typo...they actually shot that badly...15%) and only lost by 1 point, I would not have believed it. I hope they play again in the FINAL FOUR...would be a lot of fun to watch these two go at it again. I cannot think of another great rivalry in any sport that more consistently delivers than UNC-DUKE...best rivalry in all of sports IMO.

I just cannot understand how anyone can kill someone they don't know at all. While certainly not acceptable, I can at least somewhat understand how someone can be so mad at someone they know to kill them (eg: boss at work, former lover, etc)...but to just kill people you have never met before and know nothing about...I will just never understand that...truly evil...

AJ was released yesterday by the Oakland Raiders. It’s beginning to look like more and more teams are realizing he is nothing more than an expendable backup in the league.

When you are getting cut by the Bills and Raiders (cannot even make these teams as a backup), you are simply not that good. I do think he is most likely better than any backup the Bengals have though.

I hate the 3 batter limit. To me that is just dumb and eliminates a lot of strategy. I know the 3 batter limit will require a different kind of strategy but I prefer the old way.

So if a pitcher comes in with two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning and gets the first guy he faces out to end the inning, does he have to pitch to at least the first two batters in the bottom of the seventh inning? If so, what if his spot comes as a batter in the top of the seventh inning? Is the manager not allowed to pinch hit for him?

Worst 1st hole in the city.

Not one of my favorites. Also, the guy who set the pins today must have been in a bad mood. Five or six of the pins bordered on unfair IMO.

This is another reason why the W or L statistic for pitchers is worthless. It really should not even be a statistic IMO.

I was able to sneak out this afternoon and play Blue Ash golf course (very nice public course in Cincinnati). What a beautiful day! Course was in pretty good shape, especially for mid March. Shot a 39-42=81...back nine was VERY SLOPPY! It's early...that's my story and I am sticking with it:)...

I have heard talk that he his fine but may very well shut it down for the year but Coach K keeps dangling that he his coming back to lock up a #1 seed. If true that is very smart on his part.

I have heard that too but if he doesn't play in the ACC tournament and Duke loses, I don't think people will buy he is playing in the Big Dance.
