  1. Men’s Warehouse is a mess, at least the one in BG is.

Dillard’s IMO is the best bet if you’re looking to spend $300-500 and getting something that feels nice. I got some Hart Schaffner Marx pants from there that feel like pajamas when I wear them. Same can be said for the suits. The more you spend the nicer material inside and out. If you plan to wear it quite a bit, I’d go that route. If you just need one for certain occasions, I’d try one of the places mentioned above.

I know it just passed but Dillard’s has a huge sale, including suits 50% off on New Years Day.

  2. When you get two fouls in the 1st qtr it can sometimes keep you from getting in a rhythm. MC was affected by the officiating all around. It wasn't just charges....it appeared that they weren't getting the whistle.....so much so that their coach addressed it and told them to play on. I say that but in no way am I trying to take anything away from WC, because they played very good.

This could be the worst officiating year that I've seen statewide and there's no other way to put it....IMO

The crew that called this game has been in the region for 5+ years.

  3. Yes he is. With 2 minutes left down 6 there is not one player in the country I want with the ball in his hands besides Baker Mayfield. When his team needs him the most he comes up every single time. Lamar is a stat stuffing machine, but he's Michael Vick. Flashy, electric with the ball in his hands, he does stuff no one else can do. Baker Mayfield is like Russell Wilson, Brett Favre, Drew Brees. Winners above all else. It's not what a piece of paper tells you, it's how you feel watching them play. I'm probably the only OSU fan in the world that likes the guy, but I can't help it. There is just something special about the guy that is unexplainable.

I feel like when Lamar has the ball, he can score from anywhere with either the run or the pass. I’ve never felt that way about any other player before him.

  4. Bowling Green shot 54% from the field and Hopkinsville did not. Jalen Johnson did not play most of the second half (knee) but that was no factor in the game. Hoptown shot just 35-percent from the field. Jarius Key (22/10) looked real good.

It’s definitely a factor in a loss if one of the best players in the state did not play most of the second half and was not near 100% when he did play.

  5. 4 classes (or whatever number you want ) wouldnt fix it. Saying there’s too many classes is a lazy answer to a problem that doesn’t have a solution.

Look at the travel of 6A District 1 and the cost of traveling from Henderson to Paducah. 1A I’m traveling from Russellville to Fulton.

It’s clearly a problem of having too many classes. Not only is it diluting the competition but forcing athletic departments into tougher financial situations.

  6. Actually Mayfield didn't really get recruited by OU. He went to Texas Tech and started as a true freshmen. Left TT and just showed up at OU and asked Coach Stoops if he could earn a spot on the team.

Thanks for that info. Makes me like the kid more knowing that he’s willing to compete! Or at least sounds like he’s willing.

  7. I like it much better when they let their play on the field speak for itself. Any ordinary person can act a fool, mouth off and grab their crotch.

But a SPECIAL fool gets recruited by OU and throws for 3500+ Yards and 30+ TDs.

His play on the field is speaking as well.

  8. I crowned this team state champs back in week 4 I believe it was. But by all means use my post as motivation. I’m just assessing what I’ve seen and nothing more. I hope SW gives them all they can handle.

Not a SW fan in the slightest. Just funny to me seeing so much overconfidence. BG running clocked SW mid-season and they lost to that same SW team tonight. Anything can happen, that’s what makes this time of year so fun for the casual fan.

  9. Hope you alright dragon fire. I think it is fair to say that South will not turn the ball over 5 times tonight. I also think it is safe to say that Bowling Green it's not surprised to see South Warren again tonight. I think all the Bowling Green coaching staff knew that South was going to be Christian County. Coach Spader and his defensive staff will be prepared tonight to slow down the win kid. Bo Buchanan for Bowling Green has been absolutely remarkable. If they were to win the game tonight the Bowling Green quarterback statistically speaking will be better than Devin Hayes and Clark pain in their junior year campaigns. No one before the season begin would have ever imagined that. Buchanan will not throw as many touchdowns as Jesus did his junior year but throwing zero interceptions with nearly 2500 yards after tonight it's pretty impressive. I think if Bo Buchanan has an above-average game regardless of how the teams play Bowling Green wins. Really looking forward to tonight. I agree the crowd will be down somewhat but the excitement and atmosphere will be very high.

Buchanan throwing more TDs than Jesus. I've read it all!

  10. Thanks,

I just get disgruntled when college ball is played on Friday night. Everybody has their slot. I don't like it when pro plays on Saturday either really.

In Bowling Green, the WKU games are a good draw even if they aren't playing well. But the Bowling Green vs South Warren game should be just as big or bigger draw tonight since they are so deep into the playoffs.

I highly doubt there are 10K+ at SW/BG.
