I find it funny that all 3 of Cooper's big men fouled out and yet no one for Scott fouled out. To me it seemed that they only called the fouls on certain players. Yes, fouls were called on Scott but not to many were called down low. I'm not saying that Cooper didn't commit any fouls, but some fouls appeared to be selective on the Scott team. You would think that in a half were 35 + fouls were called somebody from Scott would have fouled out. To me it appeared that when a Cooper player received their 4th foul it was only a minute or 2 before they received their fifth. Yet the # 23 or 32 was able to play forever with 4.

Congrats to Austin.

I think that's a little much.
OK 5

Combine the tough "D" with the fact that any 1 of 7 kids are capable of leading the team in scoring on any given night spells trouble. Cooper is for real.

Congrats to NCC.

I believe Boone County as a similar rule as well. I know the Boys are not allowed to practice or enter the school.

Thanks, good info as always.

Maybe we could get a Federal Grant and do a study. We could have someone go to a game at every gym in Kentucky and declare a winner. The school gets free Popcorn for a year to sell!
Let me know where to apply. I think I should bring RP and mcpapa along so that we get it right.
-
I do find it a bit disappointing when I show up to a game and there is no popcorn
-
Same happened to Papa & me the night Mason County & Cooper played.
That's the night I'm talking about. Bummer
-
Mason County. However. in December when I went back for my second bag the person behind the counter said their machine broke down right after I paid them a compliment on how good their popcorn was.

Sixer, what is the main lineup? Lou, Shelton, McNeil, AJ, and Morgan?
I think that is the lineup Sully would like, but with their aggressive defense either one or both can get into foul trouble early, hence the rotation begins with Hathorn.

I have had only one encounter with coach L and that was last year at the 9th region awards dinner. He greeted my son as if he knew him for years and only had kind words to say to him. My son may not remember but I sure do. Any team to have him in their sidelines is truly blessed.

Congrats to Nikki and family

No one said such a thing. Quit trolling. It is unbecoming.
Not your typical Cooper fan.

looked good to me I thought you where allowed 2 steps on a layup

I need to check out the Bach kid. I think I reffed one of his games when he was a frosh or a soph. I remember a kid that was really young and good.
The kid can flat out play and is a gamer. enjoyed watching him last night and look forward to seeing him against Dixie tonight.

As long as it bothers you then I'm doing something right.
It doesn't bother me at all. I'm just impressed with 963 post since September.

Now Hellbird trolls in Conner basketball threads....
Going for the quickest to a thousand post award.

This was a hard fought game and both teams played with great energy. These kids know each other and these games are big and they go after it. I was very impressed with Ryle as they are better then most people think.
I thought the refs where better than they have been. Some questionable calls but all in all they did a good jobs. The kids seem to be understanding what they can an can't get away with.
Good win for the Jags and looking forward to this weekend in Mason County.

Thanks for the update. I usually wait for the morning paper to come only to be let down by their lack of coverage. Look forward to your future rankings.

NDA is going to ask that games at Walton be removed from their schedule.
Congrats to the Lady Cats.
Why is that?

Everyone was right 10th region stripes are worse than 9th region stripes . Both ways
From what I've seen so far the 9th region stripes are no bargain. Very inconsistent.

Conner was down 19 after 3.
How did it get to 11? Was that the closest it got?[/quote
I think it got down to about 9 at one point. Game got very physical and then a bit sloppy.
