  1. Just want to say CONGRAT's to all the Teams out there that is practicing on Thanksgiving day which is a great accomplishment for your teams and fans. This means you have made it deep in the playoff's and there are only 24 teams remaining in the Playoffs. I also wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving and wish you all the best this Friday or Saturday in your playoff games. Again HAPPY THANKSGIVING! JD

  2. Old Sports Dad, the kids I am talking about are Craig Wilmhoff, Joey Johnson, Gabbard and there are several others. Yes you are right Coach Rash and Coach Myerhof both are great Erlanger men and yes we do stand behind each other. As goford said it all they are a good bunch of coaches and believe I applaud you for your 50 plus years with Beechwood a true fan. I respect each and everyone of those coaches no matter what complaints people may have about them. I bet there are another 100 programs out there that would love to have done what Beechwood has done for the past 8 years then others are just spoiled. JD

  3. If you know Coach Rash how do you know he did not apply for his alma mater job before taking over at Beechwood. I will tell you one reason is because Lloyd already hired Coach Lucas and they did not interview anyone else for the job. Beechwood is lucky to have Coach Rash and his coaching staff and they know more football then most of the people posting on here. I could understand if a program was losing and not winning games. With all the new schools Boone County has opened lately the kids in Boone County have more choices back in the day it was Boone, CovCath and Beechwood. Back in the day there were a lot of kids playing at Beechwood from the Boone County Pee Wee league now they have more choices. JD

  4. Coach Rash (OLD SPORTS DAD) is also a teacher and they make sure the kids are well aware is the class room comes first. You know it really don't matter what I say here you have your mind made up and if you think about Coach Rash coach with Coach Yeagle during those good years. Coach Rash is by far a better coach then what is out there today and he is a personal friend of mind. There are not many programs out there that are close to Beechwood and like Coach Bucket said many strive to be like them. JD

  5. After reading all this I can't believe some of these post. As Jason Bucklen said on here that BW has a great coaching staff and would take them over any other. After being with them for four years I too would take them over many. I have never seen a group of coaches who care and put so much time in to preparing their players for another opponent. I have been down there at BW at 8 a.m. on a Saturday morning looking at film, etc., talking with players and coaches and they walk out of there some time 4 or 5 and back again Sunday to prepare for that weeks game. Yes BW has not been to the State Championship game in many a years however, I do know that when those seniors leave BW they are prepared for life and the next level. Now and then one of those seniors may go off in another direction. Noel and his Staff cudo's and congrats on a great year. JD

  6. Who ever thought now seriously Boone County would go 0 - 11 should this coach be fired too. Yes when Cooper opened it took from both Ryle and Conner. Look what goes on around NKY parents really do hurt programs and feel they are helping. Fire Bryson and he will just go elsewhere and put a good program together. It is easy to get on here and talk about a bad coach or good coach. Maybe some of these people should get involved in coaching and feel the love they will receive. JD

  7. This happens when you can not depend on an extra point. WOW I am surprised at this one and it just goes to show you scores against other opponents who play each other does not mean a thing. That is why they play the game congrats Walton Verona and my good friend Coach David French on this win good luck going forward. JD

  8. I too think Bryson is a good coach and has a good football mine. I like the way Clyde and others say in this let him stay. As for parent's coaching I hate coaches who are into it only for their kid that starts at the Pee Wee level. I tried for several years running the Erlanger Lions to have fathers coach in the level their kids were not playing. It is hard to turn away volunteers when you can't find the teacher's with the right credential's that want to coach for the pay they get. I can guarantee you Coach Warner is all about the kids and not the money. I say give him a couple more years and if his record does not improve then make the decision. I also have to say if someone has an axe to grind go talk to Coach Warner I am sure he would listen. JD
